History of motorsport around Brno dates back to 1930. The Masaryk circuit is the most famous Czech racing circuit, located close to Brno. It was formerly the site of the pre-war Czechoslovakian Grand Prix. In 1987 brand new circuit was built to host many national and international events, and is now used primarily for motorbike races, although it's used for car racing too. Still, the annual Grand Prix of the Czech Republic is the most important event held there. Circuit is located 10km northeast of Brno. It has 8 right turns and 6 left turns, direction is clockwise. Difference in elevation is 74m. - Enis Dauti
