Due to homologation issues, the 275 GTB/C was Ferrari's 3rd attempt at building a successor to the 250GTO. Using light weight body panels, and the V12 250LM engine, the 275 GTB/C was Ferrari's last true purpose built (not a modified road car) GT racer. They were raced in the US through the late 70's, a tribute to their reliability and race car manners. Among its mantle are class wins at LeMans in 67 and Spa 1000km in '69. Its streamlined body and bullet proof Ferrari V12 made it a gem in endurance races.
Light weight body panels, independent suspension, and a 5 speed gearbox coupled with the screaming Ferrari V12 meant this car should be driven like a true thoroughbred. Be simple and neat around the corners, and let the V12 do its job. - Jerry Chen
