Fun-run: nGTX (Euro)

Qualy was wet and i liked that :D. First i went out with intermediate but didnt like it so i got back and took wets. Made a nice no mistake lap with them and took pole.

Race was in dry condition and i made very good start and gained 20s adv. to the 2nd possition, before i pitted. It looked to be boring race, it was till then...but then a nice surprise when i came out of pit, Mark pitted and still got 11sec infront of me when he exited pits. I started to push real hard by that point, i wasnt gonna take 2nd after the pace i had. I cought him in 10 minutes or so and then we had a good fight with him for a few laps. Once i got infront but made a mistake and he was in 1st again. Then finaly i got him on start/finish straight. 2 laps to go i slowed down the pace so i wouldnt have to do another lap and it worked perfectly :). Realy good racing you very fair and great defending, the things u want in all races.

This was a very very tight race with lots of overtaking and even 3 cars having an overall gap of 1 tenth a second.

Thats what some of you guys might have expericanced too but lets see it from my cockpit.

OK, so I start really good, from 8th to 3rd positin before turn 1. I used the clutch real good and than turned to the inner side of the track and overtook 5 guys! Was really pleased with that. The next thing I know there was an 360GTC Ferrari and RSR in front of me. Both were kinda slow, probably because they were fighting real hard for position. So than I joined them and we were resulting a 3 car bump-to-bump racing. Soon the RSR got behind and somebody in the 360 took me out. Was 5th I think at the time and than got to pits. Was kinda confused and didn't change front tires but rear instead... That was a real bad mistake, the next thing :D :

Pit Chief:"Tires are worn, tires worn, take it easy..."

... 14 minutes left to finish. I could eventually feel the car shaking more than usually. Dennis was closing in just behind, and having known I might blew the tires up plus Dennis behind, it was a pretty tough situation. Well, I did hold him up to the end of the race and that was all I could do.

I might need to set the FF strenght lower, my hand feel a bit exhausted :D

Too bad I messed the pits, but I ENJOYED the race as much as I could and thats why I dont even care for the result.

Qualified 2nd but my start was terrible. I missed it completely, didnt realise we were starting. Slipped way back and got a bit hit from behind into turn 1, went flying through the air (see screenshot) and was plum last! Somehow the car survived and I set about fighting back. I manged to make good progress, but was behind tolga for quite a few laps fighting for 4th. I got him going into the last turn and was able to pull away easily. I pitted with about 20 minutes laps left. Didnt change tyres, this help me jump into third spot and there I stayed.

Good result for me, I was so out of the race after the start, so very happy. Congrats to Janko and Mark!

Pfft i suck with ngts lol. I could enter server 5-10 mins left to qualy and had no setup. Tried to make a setup, and made a sh*tty one lol. Then qualy started, i pressed enter and entered track, then i realized it was wet, but i had to make a lap before another pit coz of press esc rule ... It took long with slicks on wet. I entered pit and took wets but this time i forgot to change rear wing ... LOL. It was set to 6 and i had no downforce. Came to pits again, fixed everything. I was going well and doh .. session ended while i was entering last 2 turn.

I had to start 15th or something. With the start i gained much positions. I jumped to 6th or 7th in first lap. A couple of laps later i could reach 4th position. But forcing too much caused mistakes and after 2 spins i dropped back to 7th-8th again. I entered pits early than other guys. Took extra fuel, changed all tyres, and repaired damage lol. I gained time against others while my tyres are good and after their pits i passed a couple of them. I was behind George. Lap by lap gap was reducing and after he made a mistake i caught him. I passed him after 2 laps and i was all alone after that.

I am not happy with my position lol and I dont congratulate Janko on his win LOL. Was fun though.. :O

I got swamped at the start because im hopeless at standing starts, cars where overtaking me right and left, but as i look to my left i seen i was not the only one to get swamped as John also got bogged down too. Very close few opening laps, Janko disappeared and i was battling with Busherie and Roman. Sorry Roman for the tap i gave you at T1, Busherie was passing you on the inside and i tried to stay glued to his bumper and follow him thru. As i did that you close in for the late apex and i gave you a bump.

Chased Busherie for all i was worth but he always kept his line and it was hard to make a pass. Then a few mistakes from me gave Bep a gap, but eventually caught him up again and managed a flook pass because i out braked myself at T2 and dived to Beps inside hoping to avoid him, we ran side by side thru T2 with Bep on the inside and me on the outside. I suspect his tighter line for T3 made him brake that bit earlier which allowed me to pass on the outside.

Passed Janko while he was pitting and pitted myself shortly after, decided not to go for tyres and took fuel only knowing that would give me 1st place, but janko was flying and i would have to hold him off for about ten minutes. He rapidly closed me down and i was on the defensive trying to cling on to the lead. But i knew that he would get me sooner or later.

Great racing, really enjoyed it.

PS. what a good recovery from John Dixon tho, 15th in the screenshot and manged to finish 3rd, and he was only a kick in the arse behind me too lol.

Nice one guys, was my first serious race here. Enjoy it but choice a bad strategie. Nice fight with Marc, very fair and finaly nice pass.. cu next

Good race I suppose, I was knowhere in it, far off the pace, some serious times from the front runners. My race wasnt helped at all by being spun out by #Serge Borodin# who who had just come back onto the track behind me after an accident i guess and didnt like having lost a few places, he took me out.. was not very pleased with that! then he left the room a few laps after!
I seen in the race George Pol was a victim to him aswell ..

All is not as it appears i guess, after watching the replay it looks like i'm the one that sent you airborne from behind J Dixon, as well as hitting or tapping a few others including Russ, my sincere apologies as when on the race screen it shows and also looks like usually a .5 second or so gap between myself and the car ahead, my ping is usually around 50 -150ms with most other cars, so i am clueless as to why this is happening......is a 150 ping too high to be racing here????
Must be the frozen cables from up north where i am, lol.......
