Russian-Ring GT

Forgetting to put in race fuel wasnt fun. I had to pit twice during the race but i pretty much finished where i would have if everything went right. Sorry to whoever i ran off the track in like T3. I looked back and saw you comming at the last second and tried to get out of the way. Congrats Tristan :)

The Mustang was a teeny bit faster here than the 996 from the Euro event, but also ate tires faster.

Alexandru had this race wrapped up, but he had a spin from fatigue some 10 laps from the end, and I was handed the victory. Had we ran one single more lap, my left rear tire surely would have expired.

Still fun, this was quite an endurance for a sprint! Lots of sawing at the wheel on this track.

Sure was, Tristan. I was very lucky to get P3, but I guess just keeping consistent pays off sometimes.

Qualified P6 with a very average time as I couldn't get a clear lap in. My bad there.

The race start was not so good. Dropped a couple positions on the start, and then got tapped the first time through the first chicane, dropping me to P14. I purposely said "NO RED MIST" to myself a couple times, knowing that I had plenty of time to recover. I was hoping to get at least back to my starting position, and I started making good progress in that regard.

At the 30 minute to go mark, I check tire wear. Jeez, all yellow already! But the temps were good and consistent at all four corners so I concentrated on trying to drive smoothly. I caught up slowly, very slowing, to Mark and Evandro, and had good tussles with both of them, especially with Mark over the last several laps. I think Mark's tires were going away as he was sliding a good bit into the tight hairpin. He eventually slid a tad too far and I was able to squeeze by him. By that time I had thrown caution to the wind and was driving the car pretty hard with tire wear indicators deep into the red.

With Eduardo's retirement with about 8 laps or so to go, I was able to get P3. Much nicer result than I was expecting and great racing along the way. Thanks guys!

that was probably the most difficult race i had ever faced. I haven't slept for the last 38hours or something like that, so on practice instead of really practicing i was making some drifts and crazy things on track just to stay awake, but then the race comes and i couldn't keep my eyes open lol... i wasn't driving the car, anyone that watches the replay can notice that, i was on a semi-automatic state, completely bizarre, sometimes my eyes just closed and when i noticed i was on the other side of the track, i was making the turns without not even knowing which one i was, until finally i open up my eyes and i was on grass exiting the last turn and boom, rolled over and engine died, had absolutely no clues on what lap it was, just closed the sim and went for bed.

Congrats to podium and sorry for my state on this race, could have been a problem if there was someone near me.

Now I need to watch the replay!! hehe
