Another race, another first lap off :(

Sorry to those behind me on the 1st lap, but Samuel's car lagged right back into me. I hope that didn't cause too much mayhem.

I am pretty sure that if the white line rule is enforced I will move up a few spots.

I wish i was there for qual...but i guess the time was moved.. anyways i hit 2 people in the back in the same corner. Once at the begging and once at the very end sorry to both of you but both times it was 3 of us racing really close and you would hit ur brakes and i would just barly tap u and u would spin. This was my first time in GTR2 so i wasnt used to this netcode compared to Rfactor its awful..Anyways from there i has alot of fun though if my pitstop wasnt totally messed i probally would have one or if i had gotten to qual.. Anyways hope you all had fun!

UPDATE: well it seems you cant do reallife lines here so i was docked a lap well guess ill watch out for that one next time...

Very eventful race for me. Sam..that's THE closest squeez that last qually lap in I have ever seen! It was so close it confused the game. your front tires crossed the line the very same time the "Next Session" window came up. It bumped you to the top posistion but didn't give you a lap time.

Anyway I started 2nd on the grid and got a gutted start and lost the posistion to David. On the second lap he warped a couple times and I went to steer clear but it was too late and tapped the back of him and around he went. Sorry if you felt that was me but I couldn't avoid it.

Now Sam was up a few seconds on me and I actually caught up to him 8) As I followed him around for a while I kept seeing Dean and Rick closing the gap up. Going in to turn 2 Sam got a little wide and I had a good run in there so i popped the gas and got up underneath him. I don't think he was expecting that cuz he came in a bit, we touched but both managed to keep it rolling. Now in the lead for a short time after I clipped the chicane curb on the left, off I go and gave it back to Sam. I came back on still in 2nd and chased Sam down again. this time I went to try and take him in the last turn and got a good run on the aproach. I managed again to complete the pass and stayed there until.....down the middle strait before the triple turns, my wheel was 1/2 on the grass just where the asphalt starts BAM I'm sideways and going into the barriers. Suprizingly I had no damage and into the pits I go.

Came back out in 5th, made my way up to 3rd and finished 4-5 seconds behind Rick

HAd another uneventful race. Qual'd 11th. Start of race was a semi mess again. Lots of bumper banging and I found myself up in 8th. I ran hard tires and full tank. I planned a splash and go with about 12 laps to go. At pit time, I was in 3rd or 4th. I came out of the pits in 8th. 28 sec pit stops for 12 gals of gas?.? Was maintaining my a 6 sec lead on 9th and following by 6 secs on 7th until an out of control red porsche entered the track after an off and proceeded to knock me off. 9th-11th went by and I was chasing for the remainder of the race. 12th place. BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Whew! Tough field tonight. Oschers really makes me work up a sweat to begin with, and most everyone was pretty fast out there.

First nGTX race in a while that I've gotten through without a scratch. Managed to scoot through when things went bad in T3. I always dread when that happens, because I know in about 10-15 laps I'm going to see some of those faster guys again. I was pretty lonely in 6th for quite some time, until David Poel and I think Parker came through. Had some very good laps with Dennis, who finally passed me well in traffic, then inched away over several laps. Didn't take tires tonight, stayed on my soft/meds- I think the extra 10 secs in the pits is worth it for me though, I was at a real disadvantage when Ray came up on me in the final laps. Got some breathing room on Ray when he spun in the chicane- (dunno if I checked you up there Ray or if you got a bad bounce), but sure enough he was back in just a couple of laps, only this time he looked angry :) Right about then I got the "tires worn" warning. I was skating around T6 I think when Ray got whacked by Parker, who then got around me on the last lap.

Going to be a lot of reviewing of T4, I think... Thanks all for good workout.

As or the white line rule, yes it was enforced. I admit, my focus (only one Steward) was on one person so I may very well have missed a lot of others in the 2nd half of the race.

I second the tough field tonight!! Somewhere I missed a post or notice about the "white line rule". I've raced this track before and the normal line was using the whole paved area with four wheels over the white line. I was on teamspeak tonight and I don't think I heard anything there either. I know I had four wheels over the line several times, so my apologies. Yup, I know that ignorance of the law is no excuse. See you all in two weeks.

You guys need to brush up on the Codes and Regulations.

Marked Course
The "marked course" or "racing surface" is defined by the asphalt or concrete between the two painted lines. Anything outside those lines is considered off-course (this includes curbing). You are allowed to drive no more then two wheels off-course at any time.

Exceptions are made for accident avoidance and/or spin avoidance.

Tough race for me, showed up late, my setup was terrible even though it was ok when I practiced with it(must have failed to save when tweaked to the fullest). I got it sorted out during warmup, was still a little slow, but predictable during race.
Started off well avoiding all crashers and was up to 12th I believe. Went off my self back to 15th. off again, back to 18th :( .
Overall Very embarrasing performance. Still fun chasing people and wrestling with my car doing some wild corrections.
Looks like I picked up a spot or 2 due to violations which is nice.
