Congratulations to Conor, an absolutely faultless run.

I had some good practice and qualified on pole and also got a very decent start. I was able to to hold off Conor for 11 laps until I made a huge blunder on pit entry costing me 9 seconds and thus the race. I had no idea where to put the limiter on and guessed wrong.

Conor was able to keep pumping out good, strong laps and I was unable to even make a dent in the now 12 seconds gap. I managed to set fast race lap in a losing cause but was happy with my overall race performance.

Congrats to to Dmitry for his podium and I hope to run with you guys very soon. Total class from top to bottom...

I was very well prepared for th eprevious race @Barcelona, but the race was over for me @start as I stalled my engine and was hit by someone on start.

This time I had no enough practice and qualified only 9th. My only advantage today was that I felt myself much more relaxed compared to the previous race. I didn't expect to salvage a lot from the race.

I started quite good and even climbed 2, if I remeber right, places on lap 1, which is quite unusual for me :) I kept doing my best and was surprised to see myself on P5 before the first pit-stop. OK, still no mental pressure and I kept racing.

A few laps before the 2nd pit I foundmyself on P3. Errmmm... That's where my brain stepped in and started disturbing me with different thoughs, which were disturbing me. Luckily I managed to shut it up. Moreover, I had a gap ~15 sec from P4 (I wasn't bothering abouth the gap to P2 as I knew it was huge :) ).

After the second pit (exited 5th, on lap 24) I felt myself a bit relaxed and was just waiting until the P3 and P4 will pit. P6 (Barry Kennedy) was around 5 secs behind, but I was 100% sure he's going to pit as well. With 5 to go it became apparent he isn't :) And now he was just 3 sec behind. My brain appeared again and started to do it's disturbing things. Barry was doing incredible things as well - he was doing mid 42s laps, while his last pit was on lap 18 (his first was on lap 17 :) ) and tires had to be worn.

Finally I managed to keep my 3rd place and feel much better than after the Barcelona.

Grats with 1-2 to Conor and Richard. You were just in another league :)

More V8, more fun. Everything was going well, sitting comfortable in 10th following Omar and Alex. About 6 or 7 laps in, Omar gets loose in the last chicane. He did everything perfect, he stomped on the brakes and stopped the car. But I was right on his tail, and had no where to go. Had one of those slow motion "nnnooooooo" moments. :D Pinballed onto the wall ala Jenson Button in 05. Gave the old Team Kiwi Holden a nice toothless look. hah

I was pretty much 2nd to Richard in practice, qualifying and the first part of the race. However, once pit stops came, I knew exactly where the pit lane limiter was supposed to start and used that to my advantage. Fortunately for me, it helped me get a 10 second advantage each time like Richard said and pretty much sealed the race for me. If that hadn't happen, the race would probably have been MUCH closer :).

Good job guys, clean racing by all and props to those who finished...this is a tough track that wasn't built for these cars ;).

I eventually worked out a setup that was reasonably stable and with some pace.Qual went well and i was feeling good about a podium with a bit of luck.The 1st half of the race was consistent enough but was just down on my earlier pace,however,i had the glory of leading the race for a few laps before my pitstop.Now here i chanced my arm on a back to back pitstop,but possibly lost a podium by not being certain of the limiter area and played safe.For some strange reason the second stop took a lot longer than the 1st and i reentered in 9th.At one stage i thought i might grab 3rd but Dmitry was holding steady and when i just thought i would jump him at the hairpin,i would make an error on these slippery tyres.Congrats to podium and finishers.

Had fun while it lasted guys! Had a very solid top 10 finish going and was enjoying racing with Ortega and one other. But then on my 2nd and final pit stop I got caught speeding coming in for service. I never could clear the "stinkin" black flag for it and was eventually disqualified. Frustrating to say the least but that's part of it :) Hope to race with you guys again sometime.

By the way,did everyone just change two tyres on the stops.

I did changed all 4 tires on both pit-stops.
