V8-Euro Monza

Well, That sucks, just at the end of warm up I lost my internet connection... Hope you guys had fun

Now i'm seriously pissed of.I decided to do back to back pitstop with 2 tyres each time.Got thru the 1st stop alright,2nd,i might not have hit the button hard enough to turn limiter on,get a penalty.I then try to figure out if stop go or just drive thru,decide on stop go,pull into pits and they just change tyres.So i do another lap trying to figure this out,come into pits and just drive thru,wrong,dq.

I was robbed!

I started off nice and conservatively, only to have that sam anti-virus popup i always have on the Euro servers :-(

That lost me a few seconds, which I managed to pull back on Bas fairly quickly. I flashed him to tell him I was pitting on lap 8, but he got down my inside anyway and blocked me from pitting. Oh well, I have an extra lap of fuel, no harm. The same thing happens next lap but in opposite order, and he flashes me to tell me I'm pitting. Two wrongs dont make a right, so I backed off and let him in. Then he goes and brakes for the wrong pit limit line! Bam, I go straight into the back of him, stall, lose 10 seconds. I have to come through traffic in the middle stint, but manage to keep the gap at 10 seconds. Through the last pitstop I cut that down to 3 seconds, then gain 1 more while he's on cold tyres, but I've got nothing more to give and eventually have to settle for second.

I'm really dissapointed with that... not Bas's fault I guess, just racin'

Was a nice race i had with Scott even despite the miscommunication, it's a bit in the nature of the track as well, anyway if the contact with me and scott didnt happen we would have had a race to the line which both of us could have won.

Enjoyable race, qualified 4th, started well and gained a spot at T1, held 3rd for the most part, made a few mistakes near the end due to not being used to the light car when the fuel burned off. Pete nearly caught me right at the end!!!

Hey Mark, did you do that 1:50.4 without cutting? If so, good on ya!

Again bad race for me,
Started from 5th. and drive patiently due my wheel problems :(
My tactics were good and I gaining positions through pit stop.
In 2/3 distance of the race had 2nd and then 3rd position, but then I crashed and pitted to repair 4 laps to go :(.
At the end finished race with my crap wheel on 11th.
Hope thats end of my bad luck races in this series.

@ Scott - i hope its legal too m8, I was extra carefull tonight making sure i didnt cut the track because i always seem to get caught when i do cut LOL.

I never expected to stay connected long enough to finish this race, so hadn't bothered wasting time testing for it! I had a setup from a previous fun-run, it felt pretty good so I stuck with it. As did half the field, I think :)
Not usually a track I enjoy, but just for a change this one was fun. Had some good battles with Milan, Roberto and especially Dmitry. Also a few others - I can't remember too many boring laps :)
Thanks to everyone, and to all those Easter trippers who buggered off for the weekend & left my ISP network with a lighter load than usual!
