GP of Silverstone

hmmm, I see there is some work to do on this import :)

What a race i had! if i didnt puss out at the last second, and put in too much wing (like 5 and 18 LOL) i think i could have been much better.

i like it how 6 guys won the race, im down for that! hahaha.

Great race. I really had to hustle with Robert ahead of me and Pat behind me.

Robert and Pat were faster the first few laps but the Williams seemed to pick up speed as we went along. After 3 or 4 laps I finally was able to shake Pat and close in slowly on Robert.

Finally about lap 15, Robert slowed just a bit passing a lapper, and I had a run on him down the front straight. I had 4th gear just a bit too short and had to go to 5th, and he nipped ahead into turn 1. I bobbled a little and he pulled out to 1 sec or so.

Then on lap 18 or so, I got another run on him after we both lapped a car. I couldn't do it in turn 1 so I took a late apex and drafted him through turn 2, but then I outbraked myself into 3 and spun. I recovered and managed to hold off Pat for 2nd.

Hats off to my teammate Michael G. for finishing the race despite my best efforts to take him out while lapping him and then driving right into his path after my spin. Nice work dude!!!

Not anymore, sorry. I fixed it.

After my usual pathetic qualy effort, I had a good start and then settled in with a great battle for 4th place with Nick Johnston. Had a lot of fun, my tires were shot to shreds but we managed to battle for virtually the whole race.
I think once I learn to have decent race-setups things could look for the better.
