Road America V8

First of all sorry to Ted Mannes ,you braked alot earlier than i expected but my fault. And to A Dadley for totally cutting you up on the S/F straight was not intentional .

Race was an awfull one , Put myself of the track into T3 buy cutting across someone and then got caught up in people spinning in front of me . Then i hit Ted and had to make a drive through , this put me down in 23rd place . Then it was just a case of keeping it consistent and trying to gain as many postions as i could.

I notice Eduardo was much faster than me in the carousel corner. I must have had too much rear wing. I was also not able to get a good tow from him onto the main straight.

One bobble in the carousel is what did me in. When I pitted for fuel and rear tires, my damage was repaired too, adding an extra few seconds which cost me the lead.

I have no idea how I got a 2:12 one lap from the end. My front tires were done!

Apologies to Chris Melton who was unfortunately right with Eduardo and I on the last turn of the last lap. He got bumped around a bit. Very sorry Chris! I thought you knew I went around your outside.

Should be an exciting championship :-)

Haven't got a handle on these cars yet. 1.5 hours practice clearly wasn't enough. Got swamped at the start because I was extra cautious. I'm used to mid pack starts. Race was going well till I realized 3 laps from end I didn't have enough fuel. Again... not enough preparation. Looking forward to a better showing next round.

Sorry leaders, was trying to get out of the was but kept getting in the way. Glad that I did not wreck either of you.

I have to say sorry to Pablo, my virtual mirror
made my think that Pablo was more far than he
really was and i thought i had time to get out
of his way, but i was on his way almost stopped.
It was completely my fault.

tires were cold, i braked in the same point as previous
laps but car didn't stop.

Arrrgh i was so slow, i have to improve or quit with
this champ. Don't want to be a moving chicane :-(

Was happy with 2nd in Qual, shame tristan had to go 2 tenths quicker on his last lap! In race, well in the 2 1/2 laps it was going well. I learnt tristan's seriously quick on cold tyres, and that it was going to be hard to keep up.

On lap 3 my connection went.. I was expecting it as had troubles all day, but still seriously annoyed. Never had such poor service in the 3 years i've been with my ISP, than what i've been getting the last few months.

don't worry Carlos, this happens sometimes.

The fact is it wasn't my fault but the marshal penalized me with -1 lap.
I'm completely pissed about this very unfair penalty, it was imposible to me avoid the crash, the backmaker brake very very early in the racing line to let me pass.Then he move at right when I was just behaind him and also I was moving a the right to pass
I saw in the replay how I brake at least 8 metres before than previous lap, i wasn't pushing at all. Anyone in my situation could do anything to avoid the incident.

Please marshall, reconsider the penalty, check it (turn 2 - lap 22)

I spend all the day to get the internet conection works, clean a virus, reinstall firefox (not work at all), check why I can't adjust differential settings when a guy said me he can...

Pablo, diff settings cant be adjusted, its fixed. I wish it could though, would solve the snap oversteer out of corners.

Did some great racing this weekend and this race was one of them. They really are something to drive these tanks and RA is one of my favorite tracks. Had a so-so quali and managed to get through T1 and T2 without a scratch. Had some good racing with Michael Virt (again) :-) but once I got passed I managed to put some space between us due to more rear wing (I think). Only changed the fronts at the stop and ended up in a battle for 7th with Joao, Bas and Rogier. Getting 9th in the end was more than expected. Grats to Ed and the rest of the podium. And yes Pablo ... a penalty like that is a bitch. Had one myself at Interlagos a few month ago where I tried to avoid a collision but ended up with a lap down. But you'll get you share of the points in races to come I'm sure. :-)

In real life the cars have a "Spool" differntial so no LSD just as if it was welded up, the characteristics are defantly right as for the way the car turns in but i bet they dont have to be quite so gentle on the throttle .
