Watkins Glen Challenge

My PC broke few days ago and today should be fixed, but when I came to shop they told me it's not done so I had to go to another shop and buy new one.

I just put everything together few minutes before race, but couldn't calibrate wheel so it was still 90 deg on the left side whole race and I had to use force to get it centered and keep it there:)

Haven't done any practise as well apart from 2 full laps before qualli and few unfinished:)

With my teammate's setup I found some rhytm (not speed unfortunately) and just wanted to finish. The start was brilliant and soon I found myself on second place with no chance to catch Janos. Unfortunately on second lap I punted Ted (sorry for that mate, my mistake) and had to serve D/T which put me on the back. During the race I climbed up to 5th due to misluck of others and if I wouldn't crash in second to last lap I even might get a podium, but happy anyway, becayse 3 hours before race it looked like I'll not even start.

Great race were today, in the qualification i managed to do the 4º place, i think that i was managing to do a little better but i in my laps have some traffic.

Already in the race i manage to do a good start and jump to 3º place, in the first turns i still put a little of pressure on Anthony Dadley but I committed a mistake in the zone of S's and went down for 7th. From there tried to take a good rhythm being able to recover so the maximum of places possible.

In the lap 16 i was pressing Kevin Ransom when in the T2 for my suprisse i find Juan Aul in almost of the midle of the track, in that point simply i had no reaction for miss him and then i slammed losing again some places. I managed to continue without pitting and i still recovered 2 places.

Quali: I went out 1st and had to abort all the flying laps I attempted as I felt I was close to cutting the course. I pitted and went out again, with 4 minutes to go and got a really nice lap together which gave me pole.

Race: I had a decent start and managed to put in some nice laps, with Anthony keeping me honest all the way. I made a few minor errors, until lap 10, when I overcooked it in the chicane. Anthony took the lead and I kept pace with him, until another error in the 2nd last left hander. I rejoined in 3rd and was closing, when I clipped Juan, through the bends leading up to the 1st straight.
Sorry Juan...I did not think I hit you at 1st as I did not have damage..the replay also shows no contact, but I served my drive through and brought the car home.

Congrats too podiums.Good race till my AMIGO Steve found me.
i did what manuals said ,keep line,slow a bit etc etc.

Congrats to Janos for his ZR win. Great job to the ZR drivers who seemed very aware of their surroundings and drove predictably making passes safe for everyone.

I have hardly touched these cars and had no setup an hour before the race. I was able to make some adjustments to the base setup to make the car stay under me. I look forward to the next race.

Was a great race, qualified second in class only a tenth off pole.

The initial start wasn't too good, dropped a few places on the run through turn one. Jumped up to second on lap two after a couple of cars span off in the chicane and a managed to go through the middle.

Settled into a rhythm in second and tried to catch up to Janos ahead managed to bring the gap down to 3s at its lowest point but I couldn't maintain the pace on with the heavy fuel load. Once the gap became insomountable i decided it was best conserve the tyres. Little moment mid race when Jaleem span in front of the chicane made slight contact with the back his car but no damage and just missed the wall on the exit when rejoining.

Just drove the car to the finish to claim my best ever finish on R2p and my first podium hopefully that first win can't be too far away.

Congrats to Nabil, nice win, and all podium finishers!

I did the pole, got an ok start, then i had a funny battle with Xabi and Mircea from the H6s. They passed me in every straights and i came back at the end of the corner. It wasn't so beneficial, but i have enough advantage not to worry about it. At the end of the race i had more than 20secs advantage, so i could take care my car.
I did my first pole, fastest lap and win at R2P, thanks guys for the clean racing!

I had an excellent time thanks everyone - I got an excellent start and think was up to about 4th until the chicane on the first lap where I was lightly bumped from behind that was enough to spin me right round, but not enough for a drive through.

I retuned to the track in pretty much last place, but managed to work my way up through the field, without any more errors for the entire race.

So had excellent fun overtaking.

First time I've raced these caes, great fun to drive. I had a great start and was going well until the bus stop. Michael touched me and I went sideways but didn't hit anything. Racing incident, very busy time in the race. Was going strong and having a good race when I must have dosed off at the last courner and hit the wall. Too late to get into the pits so I had to go around whth a damaged left front. Going into yhe pits I was trying to change my settings and kept hitting the "slowing to pit" button, felt like a fool because I've changed pit settings many times before. Changed my front tires only and got out in 7 seconds and proceded to charge as fast as I could through the field. I think my fresh rubber on the fronts helped because I was able to claw my way back to 3rd in class. Won't be able to make the next one, got tickets for Road America, but I plan on making it to the one after. Had a great time.
