Disconnect at lap .......34 / 36 nice, this one was fun and let me drive a bit ;).

Yeah I saw that Bertrand and almost crashed in your car because it didn't disappear soon enough.

Other than that pretty boring race. Lost 2 positions in the pits...

Not a great quali or race start for me, and the race was uneventful after the first couple of laps. Just got my head down and tried to limit the damage.

that has to be the most fun i've had yet. i qualed terrible, as always. i figured that would be a good thing, be behind the wrecks :). well, it sort of worked. i avoided the first set, but got butt tapped in turn 3 and sat and watched everyone go by. bye bye .

so i start running the laps. slowly, i pass ppl as they go off track, and i am moving up. first pit gets me a position, second pit got me 2. i just had to make sure i ran smooth and steady. my goal today was just not to run off the track :).

so, i end up 2 laps from the end running in 11th place. someone disco's and i end up with a top 10. just barely :)

just goes to show, even if you are in last place, never give up, never surrender. an hour is a long time and lots of things happen. lol

Sorry to Bep that you had another disco m8. And also for the tap in T4. Not good touching your teamm8. :-( I saw in the replay that it also brought Marko into problems. Not happy with that at all and my sincere apologies for causing that. Let's say I payed for it by taking the next turn a bit too wide which ended me joining the grid in last position again. After that it was all about making the best of it so not unhappy with 7th place after 36 tough laps.

A rather great race, really. On my last qual lap I improved on my PB (that was after quite brief testing) by almost 0.2 seconds. Then in the start I got a perfect getaway and took the lead. In the last turns of lap 1 I was really poor and Janko passed me on the main straight. His strategy was three equal stints and mine was two back-to-back stops at halfway, so after 24 laps I had a gap of about nine seconds behind me. At that point I was marginal on fuel so I started going economical. When the chasers were about two seconds back, I decided it's time to pick up the pace and I could barely keep the lead until the end.

Well, its a good result but i realy wanted to win :P.

Had a nice qual lap and a pole. Lost place to Ari, but got him back on the outside of turn1 lap2. I opened a little gap, but seems wasnt enough for my 12/24 lap pits. I lost a lot in pits again, and also in an accidant when lapping Chris Galloway (sorry for that, i thought u were moving away, but at end it all looked so complicated when i tried to pass). So after 2nd pitstop i had quite a gap to fill. Kru and Ari were far. I managed to put some great laps in, and got Kru, but there was a contact between my rear wheel and his front, hope its no problem there :\. I wanted to catch Ari but run out of time at end.

So all in all a great race with a lot of action. Hope that Imola will be just as interesting.

PS: I HATE PITSTOPS!!!

Bad race for me.
Qual went not bad , but after a start a get hit in second right turn and went of the track in to the sand.When I returned i got a second hit because someone hit guy behind me who hit me.
That's why I dont like standind start , because always someone goes faster into the turn and hit you from the inside , or on hard braking.
After all that I get stuck in traffic for 10laps(or more) and finished 5 at the end :(

Sorry Marko we were side by side and i was sure we had some gap between our cars, but after i saw your post race report it seems there wasnt enuff gap and i touched u. Im so sorry about it.

For race report:

Qualy didnt went good actually. I put soft front and med rear in qualy and wanted to make 4-5 laps in a row. But after my 2nd lap dont remember who was he, i overtook some1 on the s/f straight but, he lost his braking point maybe and we crashed. I came back to pits and tried again and in last second i could get 4th position.

Race start was clean actually some1 -might be- Maciej made a great start and pass me, then in 2nd turn me and Marko touched and as he said he went to grass (sorry again Marko). After this incident, i was close to Maciej. Lol i forgot what happened but i passed him a couple of laps later. After this my front was open and i started to chase Ari. But as usual my tyres started to wear sooner than others. Ari started increasing gap after 6th-7th lap. Joco and Sam were fighting too in these times of the race. Then Sam passed him and he caught me on lap 12. I was planning to use double stop strategy but it seemed Sam's tyres were fresher and we would beat me easily with same strategy. So i changed my mind and entered pits on 13th lap then 24th. I came back to track behind Janko. He was like 10 secs ahead of me. I knew i couldnt catch him but with fresh tyres i had hope to catch Sam. In last lap i closed the gap to 4.5 secs but race was just not long enough lol.

It seems last race will be much interesting on that ch'ship :P
