Intro to German Touring Car

Great racing through-out the field guys. Good job!

THis race was a blast. I had lots of fun even though I had just recently just got GTR2. I had never tried it online before so I registered online and gave it a whirl. I ended up just using the default setup. I got to figure out the pitstops, LOL. DIdn't know I had to shut off my car and restart it and wasn't sure how to figure out the pit board. But the race was really fun. Just spent way too much time in the pits, LOL. Hope you guys keep these fun runs coming during the holday season. The more I look around and use race2play, the more I like it.

I got a stop and go penalty because I turned of the rev limiter leaving the pits, the problem was I don't know how to execute it. First I parked just before the pitline exit but nothing happened, then I went to my pitstop and there comes the board and saw nothing about the penaly, so I pressed escape and got out of the race.

I got black flagged as well. When I came into the pit to serve my penalty I went directly to my pit space, they pit guy is waiting for you. Just hang out and the timer will go up to 10 seconds, then he lets you go (mine was actually 10.2 seconds). You have a couple laps to serve your penalty, so don't hit the escape key, just take another lap, come into your pit space, and wait for the 10 second timer.

Great race guys! Really had fun at this one. Lots of new names in the mix too. Next time I'll make a setup though. Default kinda sucked. LOL.
Fernando, you need to engage your limiter manually as you enter the pits.......then do nothing, and it will disengage at end of pits on exit.

Was my first online race with GTR2 , and I must say it was fun while I lasted..lol . I am getting my keys setup and such , and will enjoy it more as

Well now.. that was fun! The 2 mandatory pit gig is fun too. Good to see all the new names popping up. Fernando had that one in the bag there was no way I gonna catch him but unfortunetly the pit bug got him and I know how you feel. Mr. Poel that was fun and thanks for the clean racing!

Yep Barry, I had a great car for the race, but there is always something that happens to me, no matter what I do :o). Good win by the way.

Dean, I have the rev limiter on one of my MOMO Race button and the neutral button on the opposite side, I think I turned the RL off by accident. Maybe a good time to change the buttons layout, not the first time it happens.
