I want to apologize to Maddison for smacking his Aston Martin in the back.

Lost concentration when I was racing a mustang I shouldn't have been racing. Mustang was way quicker then me. I out braked myself and smack, right into Maddison with locked brakes.

Racing didn't feel right after that so I decided to call it a day.

Thank you all for coming out to this one! Was a thrill driving this track with a nice field.

Aston Martin!!! We got to see that this hot car can be driven to victory! And a close second. Well done.

I myself was involved in some great close racing. The 2 highspeed righthanders proved to be a hoot. Then screaming down to the next chicane, down a forever straightaway.

On to INTERLAGOS and more high speed action. Featuring four consecutive high speed lefts. And a long, long, righthander.

Kinda disappointed with that finish with all my mistakes early and in the middle of the race that kept me in a hole, but nonetheless, it was fun trying to keep the pressure on Tristan.

Went with the Aston for this one after trying a bunch of cars, including the Viper, Mustang, and GTO, all with similar times. Originally I had planned on going with the Vette, which I was half a second faster with, but the Aston's great handling intrigued me and decided to give it a go.

Grabbed pole, but did little with it on the start. Didn't see any starting lights so I had to go off of my timer, which gave me a slow jump. Dan sliced right through the middle between Tristan and I down the straight and we were probably three wide going into T1. I backed out of it which let them go ahead and I fell into the grasps of Justin. We battled for a good few laps as his Porka kept getting a major run through the parabolica where my car was absolute junk on coldish tires. Each time he would pass me through there, I would gain a speed advantage down the straight and get him going into T4. It went like this for a while until he spun after hitting me in the rear going into parabolica.

I then set my focus on Tristan who got a great head start from all the battling with Justin. I had a hard time taking time off of his lead at first, but I then started getting into a rhythm and was beginning to close in. However, I soon started blowing my brake markers and running off track on multiple laps which erased any progress. Kept my head in it and tried again but same story...made gains, but kept making mistakes. By the end of the race, my tires were shot and the driver was tired. I accepted my 2nd place finish, but hey, it was still a fun one :). These cars really fit well on these types of tracks...

Wow, what a race. I ran the entire thing without an error - never happened before. I ran a PB best in qual - was getting ,02s but in qual I jumped right to a ,00. That put me in 7th place for the start. The gearing on the Volvo leaves a lot to be desired & unfortunately I was bumped from behind on the start without any major damage. Lost a couple positions but made them up after a couple spin-offs from others. I was worried about tires so I slowed the pace down around lap 7 - 10. I noticed I probably wouldn't make the whole race on 1 set so I opened her up again. By that time Daniel was up my a** & I was close to Rob. We had some real nice racing for several laps - loads of fun. In the final l or 2 laps I noticed just 2 tiny red dots beside my front tires in the HUD - slowed down just enough to finish the race. I noticed that Daniel also slowed down with the same issue. Extremely happy the results - I held my own with the big boys:)
Congratulations to the top finishers - didn't see them at all during the race.

I did not have the pace in my Mustang to qualify any higher than 12th position, which was ok with me. Before the first turn I moved up to about 8th position passing a few Volvos and the cars behind them on the grid. After about 5 laps I think I was running in 5th place or so. Had some good racing with a few guys and it was fun. Then about 2/3 into the race I went too aggressive into a right hand turn and spun out. I lost 3 positions and settled into 11th place. Ended up in the top 10 after an off. Was fun, looking forward to the final race.

This was a fun race which required a lot of concentration.

Conor and I had similar starts, as we both had to use the timer instead of the lights to get going. I held my line outside into 1 and slowly tucked in behind Dan for 2. I got the gas-on point right for 2 and got a run on Dan into 3 and 4. From there I watched as Dan, Conor and Justin battled for a few laps. Once Conor was on his own, he plugged in some fast laps (including a 59, buh-lazin'!) and put pressure on me. However he had some troubles and the gap never got below around 6 seconds between us. My Aston got faster as the fuel load got lighter, fortunately. Conor never let up though so I was trying hard to remain consistent.

For my part, it was the first time i used the volvo, and probably the last one lol, i was surprised by how much i lost on the start, read it was off, but by that much!!! i should have taken the porka and worked on that set-up instead... during practice b4 race, Chris Melton and i talked about that, and we were not sure what to do, i guess he think the same now ...
i believe we can use it on track like trois were you don t have a long straight and you need turning hard.
And YES, i still had some great battles from the back to mid pack, especially with Chris M. and later with M. Campbell, too bad i had pushed too much early so i didn't had tires left in the last 10 laps or so, had 1 and 3/4 red square left on the front left for 10 laps, and was in a position to gain 2 spots!!!, kept the pressure hoping someone does a mistake, but you guys were great(Campbell and Melchione), but i finally blew up(tire LOL) 1 lap b4 end, so i had to come in for an agonising 38 sec, lost 2 spots , then went out for the final lap...

Chris, i saw your comments after race thanking me twice, it is normal to give you back the spot as i overshooted on braking cause you were tough to pass, GJ!! but i wanted to have a clean pass, also, since i'm a guess member, i don't have access to the official race now, so my ranking is going to stay that way... no need to stress myself with that anymore..good thing everything considered, i was stressed with that and it made me do some mistakes.

I had a tough time with this track, I had fun and felt like I was doing nice laps but they were clearly slow.
At the start I rammed Chris, sorry man I got a good jump and was on my way around but you had to let off for a slow starter infront of you.
I had 15 fun laps but looped it in the infield hairpin and the tires were shot, so I sat in the pits for a few laps and finished up with a few more laps.
Ugh, see you in Brazil!
