ILMS: Watkins Glen

After almost 1 hour of racing, i lost the connection :(((((((((((((((((((((((

Sorry for my major malfunction at the start. No excuses.

This was undoubtedly one of my worst races of all time, I had no time to train and my setting was not even of near to the best and due to that I did not manage to impose a solid race.

Once again a really good phyical and mental challenge this race was. No way I had the pace to keep up with Steve D., so kept my own pace and things worked out.

Grats to all finishers.

Was able to secure pole for this one & then be able to hold a gap back to 2nd for most of the race.After my 2nd pitstop I immedialtely realised that I hadn't taken on enough fuel for the last stint,have no idea how I managed to screw that up but did so anyway so had to do a quick splash with about 5 to go.This therefore gave Kieron the overall lead & win but I still was able to hold on to the class win.
Congrats to Kevin for 2nd in LMP-1 & also to my team mate Robert for taking 3rd in class.
Congrats to all other podium finishers.

Sorry guys, my alarm clock for some reason didn't go off. Eerrrrrr. I practiced for so many hours and to wake up 20 minutes into the race. :( All that effort into practice and blowing it because I woke up late. :( How stupid.

i am not too proud of my race, surely had the car to be on podium, but my driving sucks :( had to stay in pits twice for repairs which cost me over a minute each... i'll try better next time!!!

A few drivers were docked 1 lap for failure to serve a drive thru after punting another car.

If there is any doubt in whether you punted a car, you are better off serving a drive thru than taking a 1 lap deduction. And the complete drive thru is separate from stopping in your pitbox for repairs.
