GTR2 crashed to the desktop during qualifying and was not able to rejoin. I hope this won't count as me not attending the race despite being signed up.

Thanks Boyd for the apology. One of those things I guess, no worries. With that, a spin of my own and getting caught out by another car across the track, that cost me quite a lot of time where running a one stopper was imperative not to lose much if any.

Could have been 3rd in class? Maybe but mistakes cost and tires were going at the end so would have been close.

Enjoyable race and several good battles with Adrian along the way.

What a nightmare! I completely screwed my pit strategy. It wasn't until just before race start that I noticed/remembered it was 2x tyres and 2x fuel. Because of this I mistakenly ran softs on the front of my RSR and the front left was completely destroyed by lap 17. I was in 4th overall at that stage. It went downhill from there...

I had to pit twice after only planning on one stop, then on my second stop, despite what I had pre-set for a contingency 2nd stop, it fuelled me up to 96L and I didn't want any fuel!! Dum-de-dah, twiddling thumbs, waiting for the fuel, watching my race position drop with every passing car...

It was a great race though. Had a great time. The pace was very even and consistent out on track. Congrats to the front three and thanks everyone for a good race.

I also had a crash-to-desktop during quali but managed to get back in in time. But no time to do a qualilap so I had to start from the back. Tried to save as much fuel as possible during the pacelap. With still 40 minutes on the clock I saw Gregg enter the pitlane. I was sure he had to stop again while I was able to enter the pitlane exactly at halftime. That told me I didn't have to save fuel bigtime in stint two. I was running in 3rd closing in on Gregg and Johan. Just when I had reached them Gregg indeed pitted. Too bad you left shortly after that Gregg. Very happy with this win and with John in 2nd UK-NL is looking good in both the drivers- and the teamstandings. Grats to Johan on the win in nGT and to all other podiumfinishers.

Wow did that suck for me, lead a good portion of the race - pit for a splash & go come out in 7th right behind 6th & 5th and with 2:42 to go, game just locks up going down the front straight while closing in !!!!!ahhhhhhhhh damn.
Great racing today guys, Nils good driving, Tracy it was fun putting some pressure on you in the opening laps.

Had some real good race battles showing much patience by all.
Don't really deserve a finish like that after such a good race. Damn.

I was lucky, I gotta be honest. Went into race not knowing (forgot) about the 2x fuel and tyres, so my one stop strategy (just for tyres) became a fully loaded one stopper for full fuel and tyres, med-hard's. And it worked out.
Qualifying involved a CTD, so ended up starting 13th, but at least I was able to make it back into the game.
First stint involved me in Nick and George sandwich. George got by and I bumped Nick off the track. Sorry Nick. Took my dtp, and then after that it was a lonely drive, mostly watching gaps in front and behind me. 10 minutes to go and I saw I had Tracy 10 seconds back. He's pretty darn fast, so it was a really stressful few laps. I think Tracy eventually let me go when I saw the gap go up a bit right at the end.

Mmmm, I see I was the only 360GTC. Is there a magic setup on those RSR's I'm not aware of that everyone prefers?

Hey George excellent showing coming from the back, that must have been a blast!

Wish I was able to stick around for the finish, I think my Graphics card heated up, it got very warm here today and I forgot to crank up my RIVA tuner fan setting! Oh well had some good fun in that one.

Well that was my worst race by far!!!

Got in about 20 mins before but couldn`t set the car up because it was wet...

So started qualy with a car i had no idea about, and was way off in times to pole! 3 seconds off before my game ctd! so i just about got back in before the race with yet an unknown car :(

Race started from the back and it soon became clear it was gonna be a long lonelt race :P accidently left softs on and by lap 7 i was really starting to struggle so i just drove as long as i could and changed to hard/hard and fueled it to the finish and did the numbers in my head and drove accordingly and finished with 1 litre of fuel and my rear left was 35.8! i was just hoping there would be a load of 2 stoppers :P

Poor effort from me - at a loss really why my tyres overheat on the rear and like last night in the gt3 car - way off the pace :s

Maybe my driving style of leaning heavily on the rear of the Porsche does not suit Barca :P

Fun race fellas -

First I spun on the rolling start lap...sheesh. Wasn't sure I should rejoin, but there was a gap as everyone was going slow off of Seat...expected a penalty - perhaps will get one. Screwed that one up majorly.

Gregg - jeepers - I didn't know what to do. I was like a nervous nelly with you on my tail like that...sheesh, i about peed my pants.

Had some great battles with Claudio both after I pitted the first time and then the second time. We had i though very gentlemanly side by side for a few corners - i didn't want to push you off and i appreciate you not doing it either...good racing.

Nick - closing laps of the race and you and I were nose to tail. I thought I had you here then thought I had you there...just couldn't get by and Claudio had closed up right up on my rear bumper again...I couldn't shake him. So, into Banc Sabadel you went a tad wide so I had to put my nose in...we both held our lines very well through the corner but near the end it looks like the overly dramatic crash engine of GTR2 took over as you touched my rear left wheel well and zoomed into the gravel. If my move was overly optimistic I apologize and perhaps I should have waited, but it wasn't ill intentioned - seriously we just tapped each other...gently at that as we went through the corner.

I realize now that, per some advise, that the one stop strategy worked here best as well...there's just no way to make up for the lost 40ish second plus taxi time of the second pit stop so finishing 5th was probably lucky considering my pit stop choice.

I noticed that Gregg you took another stop and I though (crap he's gonna be on my tail also) since you were leaving the pits just as I came my - my tires were getting worn and you're were going to warm up...we had maybe 6 laps to go, but what happened? I saw you smoking a cigarette pounding back a Heineken on the last lap looking like James Hunt?

Congrats to the podium. I best look at the replay and figure out how I can actually finish in the lead since i am able to finish races now...still learning though

another what could have been .. i must remember not to do stupid things again :)
was in 3rd leading the 1 stoppers getting close to the bimmer in front when i lost it in the braking, a little tap to the armco, lost about 10 seconds but with the field so close i was now about 8-9th.
lost a few more seconds with the pit and that was it
