GT3 Cup

Well done Pete and David! 3rd (CC) was quite lucky and possibly undeserved. CC, as long as you know that that was not a clean pass 3 corners from the chequered flag.
And as for Phil, what can we say? Spin on the last bend coming into the straight for the last lap. Good one Phil :D put a smile on my face. I was just imagining the language in that yellow porsche!!

Where to start! Missed my 4am alarm, so hit FP with 5 minutes left (at 4.40am). Proceeded to Qualify on the wrong set up, hence a lap with no fuel slower than my race fastest lap mid race by just under 2 seconds! But, I warned the guys beforehand I'd be a bit comatose!!

Race didn't go too bad, but just didn't have the pace to keep with the faster guys. Nearly jumped the start. One spin when I got a double shift down into first, followed immediately by a slow down of the PC that cost me 34 seconds-ish on that lap. Thought I would definitely lose the connection, but luckily didn't. Then realising I'd not put enough fuel in (31 litres at start, 32 litres and I'd have finished 8th instead of 9th as I came to a halt with 2 corners left - lol). Averaged just over 2 litres per lap - but that tiny bit over scuppered my pace at the end as I short shifted for the last 2 laps. What's that phrase you recently called people for getting the fuel wrong Tim!!!!

A fastest race lap that was 4th quickest is a boost, but to be honest I couldn't keep on that pace as I was sliding too much through some of the corners. Lots of nice drifting going on out there around these sweeping fast curves. Congrats to all who finished. And thanks to David who drove round and pushed me over the finish line (and to Pete for pointing out I was in need of the push).

Well what can i say i was severly hacked off spinning on the lasdt turn about to start the last lap :(

Qual went quite well didnt expect 4th tbh as the only practise i had was when i came on the server tonight.

Race got quite a good start and jumped into P3 but Allen was so damn fast down those straights i had no answer for him settled into 4th then made a mistake which let boyd through had a battle with him for a few laps then lost it exiting the final turn with my bright red rear tyres that was it then race over 7th place.

These last 2 races here and the GT4 race last night will show me to practise next time and not just jump on the server.

First off well done to pete!! maybe i`ll gain that extra second or so in another 20 years :P somehow i`m not so sure :P

Getting lazy these days i only did about 15 laps prior to this race, but i`m getting good enough results to the amount of time i`m dedicating per event....

Qualy went well - got 2nd, as much as i could`ve hoped for really.

Race got away great, even had a few looks at passing Pete to begin with, but once his tyres heated up and he settled in it was over! at least a second a lap faster left me just driving to 2nd, had a few little scraps along the way but luckily i was able to drive consistent again and just paced it and got 2nd, again it`s all i could do so pretty happy i drove clean and got another Podium here :) good way to start the series.

Phoenix 1 point ahead of OTHR but i expect a miracle to beat this outfit :P

After i finished i sat there to see if my teamates had crossed the line but the i saw Andy must`ve stopped on the last lap, and Pete confirmed it, so i went from racing driver to recovery driver :P but as i was driving around i had 2 big game freezes, luckily it was after the race - it must`ve felt like a lifetime to Andy :P this worries me though because i had a few midweek, and that is why i couldn`t be bothered to practise, and i thought i`d fixed it - the Enduro today will be a good test, i hope not though :( i love the Enduros - 30 mins racing doesn`t quite hit the spot :P

Shame about the turnout though :( at one point i thought there would only be half a dozen cars :O
