Apologies for the snafu at qual- I was busy checking weights and pings and didn't notice that the server had cycled to qual all on its own.

As for the race- Wow! Losing 50 lbs really brought my Volvo alive. I managed a nice 5th place qual, lost a couple of spots on the green but got them back quickly, then set to work on the two Vettes in front of me. I pressured and stuck with Tom for several laps before getting by and suddenly pulling away, so I wondered if he had decided to conserve and might not take tires. Had another good battle with Bryce, then did my best to pull some gap before pitting. After the pit cycle was over, sure enough there was Tom a ways in front of me, with Mike Erickson on his bumper. Caught them both after a few laps, and the 3 of us went at it for the rest of the race. I badly wanted to get by Mike and have a go at Tom, figuring I had a good chance at getting by with fresh rubber, but I could not manage to get inside of Mike anywhere. Finally I tapped him on the outside in T1 and went wide with only a couple of laps to go. I gathered it back in but didn't have enough time to close back up to rejoin the fight. Well done guys!

this was some excellent racing and i will be brief b4 i head upstairs. entered the server l8 and had to put in my setup and pray. had a bad qual run and would have 2 race hard 2 get a top 10. was fast out of the box and passed a lot of people. soon i was racing with jeremy, mike, and johnny. we battled it out and i was faster than them but only passed them once they pitted. my pit stop took very long as i knew i would need 2 take tires. I ran my car very hard expecting my tires not to fall off and thinking i could catch jeremy, johnny, and dennis, but my tires wore out a lot and i wasnt a factor. nothing i couldve done this time, but i will c u guys l8r. fun racing and i look forward to the next 1.

Great race! These cars work perfectly on this track. I had loads of fun battling it out with a couple of guys. Apologies to Jason for cutting him while trying to get back on track - I looked back but didn't see him. I kept a good pace throughout but a couple errors put me back. Last part of the race my tires were really giving out - should've changed them...

Had a good qual and started 6th. was in 8th after the first tually got past him then on to Jeremy i went and urn and right on mike monahans tail, Eventually passed him up and on to Jeremy. Took a spin after following too close and hit the brakes to hard. Was in 16th after the spin. Worked my way back up to 12th behind Davis. Stayed there for a couple laps until pit time. I only got fuel and no tires. After the pit i found myself in 11th untill everyone pit i was in 7th after that with Johnny and Jeremy catching me ever so slowly. Once they did i held them off best i could for about 10 minutes until under 5min to go. Going into the first turn Jeremy was hot on my tail and a broke and got a tap and sent me into the grass. After that i ended up in 9th behind Johnny. All in All it was a heck of a race and needed a towel to wipe the sweat off my hands

Wasn't sure what to expect with the 100lbs of weight, but I slapped on The Glen's setup and a slight change to the diff and it was hooked up. I knew Mike was going to be tough to hold back. He could get a great lauch on exit but then the AWD would kill it's speed and I was able to stay ahead. Was keeping a 1 second gap until the pits when the gap started to creep up lap by lap. The Vette was terrific on the tyres with barely any wear, so I took fuel only. I looked at the gaps and saw that Mike Erickson had taked tires and Tom leap froged him and into 2nd. Was watching the gaps furiously looking at the 3 fighting for 2nd. Congrats to Tom on holding off both Volvo's to make it a Corvette 1-2 and to both Mike K and Mike E. Also I see that every car finished the race. Great race.

Fun overall, but a couple of mistakes kept me out of the top ten. I spun it twice which put me near the back of the field. Better luck next time.

Wow, Kevin sure can drive the tires off that car, even with 100 kg of weight! Way to go Kev!

What a fun race!

After a poor start for me, spinning the tires badly, Bryce and I battled side by side for the first few turns. I decided it was best to let him go, rather than take a chance of being put out on lap 1.

Then there was Michael Kolar to deal with. Intense pressure from him for quite a few laps had me pushing harder than I was comfortable with. I wanted badly to keep him behind me, but I got into turn two to hot, and locked up my rears, going wide and giving him the prefered line. He left me in quick fashion, gaining 3 seconds ASAP.

For the rest of the first stint, I ran trying to conserve tires, and not make anymore mistakes. I could see M.Kolar and Bryce battling hard in front of me, and was hoping they would run out of tires.

When the pit stop cycle was done, taking no tires, I
exited the pits in 6th spot with Mike E right on my bumper. I knew ther rest of the race was going to be a battle. Soon after all the other cars finished their pit stops, I was in second spot. Mike E kept immense pressure on me for the remainder of the race. He was able a few times to somehow get the jump out of T1, but the Corvettes superior speed kept me safe. Running hard enough that i was using the tires up, and hoped Mike E was also. I never want to see Michael K in my mirrors, but this time i was happy to see him putting pressure on Mike E. Somehow I was able to finish second with Mike E right behind in third.

Fun run tonight guys!!! I really enjoy this track. Was running laps in the 27-29 range during practice. I got a decent qual run and brought the vette home in 4th position for race start.
Start of the race was a hoot. Tom and myself battled for 1/2 a lap side by side. Tom backed down 1st. At that moment, Mike E and Kevin had a 3 sec gap on me. They where able to run .5-1 sec quicker laps than myself. I was trying to maintain a 28 sec lap to maintain the gap on Tom and Mike K. Had anywhere from a 1.5-4 sec gap on Tom and Mike. Mike K fianlly seperated from Tom and came after me. If was like a light bulb went off. My 4 sec gap was gone in 2 laps. Did you find a hidden Nitrous button in your car? I held off Mike K for a few laps but in the process burned up my tires. So much for not taking tires during pit. Went into Pits in 1st after after 21 laps. 2 1/2 red dots left on front left tire. No where enought to finish the race with. 33 sec pit. Came out in 5th with Mike K, Mike E and Tom about 8 secs up on me. Tried hard to turn consistent 27's but couldn't hack it. Brought the Tptcc vette home in 5th.

Well, the race went a little better than The Glen this time, but this car is still "work in progress". It feels like I'm carrying a "Grand Piano" in the trunk of the ViperCC!!! Regardless, I qualified 7th and ran the first stint in and around that position in a great battle with Jeremy & Johnny G., and at one point going through turn 1 three abreast! After the pit stop I came out with Johnny and was looking forward to a battle to the end, but it wasn't meant to be. I looped it going over the hump on cold tires letting by Maddison, Guzeman, and Davis :(. I then went on into a great battle with Davis in the Mustang for several laps finally getting by on a power move after the hump. The car is just a pig, but I'm figuring it out and will be ready for RA. PS: Never let Kevin drive a Vette! He sleeps in them...:)

Sorry I missed the race and did not un-registure. My flight out of Vegas was delayed just over 2 hr.
