Power failure, way, way to much air-conditioning going on at once here in SoCal. Hot.

Im in socal myself and it is brutal out here,feels like Mississippi weather,can"t wait for october or maybe even some rain although not much fun to work in.

really bad brakes tonight, crashed out. Took apart the pos momo pedals, cleaned 'em up, jammed some bits of sponge between the pots (found the one under the bathroom sink first, just about to use it, then found a clean one in the storage room). Appears to be much better now.

Too hot in socal? pretty cool here tonight, only 82 right now. Past the rainy season for us.

Had a pretty intense race to start out in 3rd with Tommy on my ass. I started to get my pace pretty quickly and soon, after coming back from a mistake spin, I was nipping at Tom's heels as it appeared his tires were fading fast with the pace he was putting that Cadillac around the track at. Eventually I got through there I think going into the downhill chicane and then I really got my tires hot trying to keep him off of me for a lap or two and eventually found some space as he got tied up with battling Tommy and I was able to ease off a bit to keep the tires good.

In the end I had really good grip left and on the penultimate lap saw that I was only .1 or so off of the best race lap by Scott, so I decided to try and snatch it and put the pedal down on the final lap to get top time by another .1.

I just love this track.

Thought we were running Montreal. I figured I'd spare everyone when I discovered that I didnt have enough laps at this track to stay under control. I really couldnt even remember the track layout. Tried to get it togther during qual, but I couldnt and sure as hell didnt want to ruin someone elses event, so I left. Sorry to take up a slot on the server for nothing.

I didn"t try to push the car that hard because I thought for sure I would melt the tires off if I did lol.I was happy to see Justin in 3rd because I knew it would be really hard for him to get by me on the start in that short strait.Tom almost had me but he was really cool about it and didn"t force his car in there like he could have in turn 2.From there I just tried to not push it too hard but try to be consistant,this track will end your race in a hurry if you get it wrong.Tom said he had trouble with his front tires so by the time Justin got around him I had a comfortable lead and just tried to be smooth and not melt the tires lol.Good run again Justin,unfortunatly I won"t make the Mid Ohio race because of work but hopefully that track comes up again soon I think these cars would be a blast on that track.
