ILMS fun-run

That was disappointing. I raced a really good 86 minutes, never had a single self spin or anything. Was running 3rd in my class and the guy behind me just pitted presumably because of miscalculated fuel. So, my connection drops with about 3 or 4 laps to go.

That sux0rz Justin. You were about to catch me, plus I had to take a splash of fuel with about 4 minutes to go.

Great mod. Very well balanced. You can definitely tell who ran high and low downforce. :)

I ran out of fuel 2 laps from the end :)

Correction noted

That was great inspite of my driving errors. Got my first pole. Then I jumped the light for the formation lap. Stop and go on the first lap. I rejoined in 15th worked my way up. I got a rear tire in the grass coming out of a turn and looped it. I also bumped into the wall coming out of the last chicane a couple of times. So for my first stop I was in 9th pulling into the pits. With 31 secs of damage I was in 15th again coming out of the pits. Worked my way back up to 10 half way through the race and the engine let go. I'll have to do some testing to get the engine longevity worked out. My teammate lost the engine in qual and the race. It appears our engine builder has some work to do.

Sorry to hear about the disco Justin. I was wondering what had happened when I saw the message flash that you'd left the game.

Still I share in your disappointment - after a good qualification result, my race setup was a disaster. I went the wrong direction in several areas and suffered for with an evil handling car.

Nevertheless, I'm happy to finish and just get a result - more than anything I'm grateful I learned my lesson during a fun run instead of a league event.

Correction: Justin you did catch me and pass me just before my final stop. But 1 lap prior to that, you had momentarily dropped for nearly a minute. I figured your internet connection was going then. bummer.

I gambled on a low downforce setup... and paid the price in the turns. However, I was blowing by people on the long straight like they were standing still- they were probably thinking I had some P2P button. Was quite entertaining.

All in all, a few slides and wall smacks. But enough to get the last podium spot at the misfortune of Justin's disco. The Ericksons were on fire! Nice job Barrett and Mike. Looked like the top 3 P1s had a nice battle going up to the end.

And a thanks to Kevin Banic for hosting practice while the server issues were sorted out!

Grats to all finishers, the P1 podium and the Ericksons on the 1/2 and charles to grab 3rd, cars like this, on a track like this demand a good skill level, and I only noticed good driving from everyone.. well done

Well done to Steve and Rob in Quali, Just blitzed Jan and myself who i had money on for the front row, you 2 came out of knowhere and earned my respect!

The race start was pretty dramatic already, unlucky for Rob, he got a stop and go on the formation lap (dont feel stupid, ive done the same in LMPC series) and that left steve to fend off some big names, but he was well up to the task, good driving!!!

I managed to make a cockup on my fuel strat, and changed plans after i saw justin talking about 3x30min stints, and i was planning on doing 3x24lap stints to get 72 laps in, which i thought was going to be the race total, only short by 10 laps anyway :)

So my race changed, and i was racing, Jan, and Pablo, great racing from both of them, we were driving our arses off i think, i know i was, Pablo was a machine down the back straight, but i always made sure to open the gap the rest of the track, Jan was all round fast but it was his fuel strat that let him down in the end.

It was fantastic chasing Jan down in 3rd stint between all the back markers, really scary, intense, hair raising driving.. loved it

Was pretty pumped for this one as I felt I had a pretty good setup & handle on the car but must admit was a bit surprised to find myself on the frontrow come race time.Due to Robs already mentioned slip up I was to head the field for the opening laps which was pretty neat & seemed to be holding my own against some formidable opponents.

Unfortunately entering the chicane at the end of lap 10 there was an "incident" which lost me a few spots & caused slight damage but was able to still deliver some good lap times & climb back to eventually finish on the podium.Well done to both podiums & to all finishers,a great mod & a great event.

well, I was lucky and unlucky race

Lucky because server failure and the delayed race start. This let me some time to practice because I had install the mod only 20 min before the qualy time and I doubted if to run or not.

unlucky because I forget to uncheck the "body repair" in my first pit-stop. Because of this i lose 33sec repairing a very little damage caused by a guy who hit me in the formation lap.
This 33sec forced me to do something different in the last pit-stop: I didn't change tires.
After that Heinz and me made a bizarre fight: i lost 0.5 sec in 1st and 2st sector and win 0.5 in last sector. The top speed of me car was superb, maybe 15kmh greater, and this let me a pair of opportunities to overtake, but then tires fall down and I make a spin.

Great mod, the best sport-prototype mod, better than episilon or ALMS or LMPC. I hope new champ with this mod
