LMPC: Monza 450k

Congrats to podium.

This was my first disconnection in all of my R2P races so far. It's strange 'cause my ISP connection has been on all the time, even when it said "conection lost" with server.

Anyway, I had a firewall issue (it just poped up) when I was at Parabolica going 12th that almost cost me a crash, but I only lost about 2 secs.

Then I had a crash when lost my braking point looking at my mirror while I was 6th in Curva Grande and lost a wheel, had to pit sooner than expected. While in my pitstall I was thinking about the crash and forgot to turn off engine, therefore loosing about 60 secs. Last place at 40 secs from the mate in front of me.

Then I met Aaron's tyre when he lost control in the back straight and had to pit 'cause my car was understeering, dead last again and 1 lap down.

And finally, this connection issue. If it only didn't show a DNF...

Man that was fun, up until I wacked the back straight bridge underpass. These cars are alot of fun yet so touchy on the throttle I lost count how many saves and loopdy loops I did.

Have fun racing Ostry and Rue, I think we spot positions ten times seemed like, mostly due to going off, lol.

Another disco despite new connection, router, cables and fully tested PC. Extremely pissed off and getting a bit depressed by it all. If anyone can help I posted in detail about my woes here:

Heinz, Chill out bro, Honest mistake, Locked breaks and shot out. Didn't touch anyone. I determined your position and only yours. It was last lap also. I apoligize but when was the last time you remember me doing you wrong? Never. Bro, it was an honest locking breaks, shooting out past apex mistake. Every time someone passes, I give plenty of room. You know I love you, right Heinz?

I was punted twice buy a certain driver because he was to in a hurry to get past me but I won't say any names.

Other then that, Good racing on everyones part.

This was fun and good, it was my first 2 hour race and I didn't know what was going to happen on the start.

So I am very sorry for the person I hit just after the start, I hope I didn't cause too much problems for him. The race was quite good made some silly and noobie mistakes but had good fun and drove faster laps than in practise and qualifying.

Unfortunatly I just had to make an extra pitstop due to a little too high fuel consumption.

Congrats to all the racers.

What a great car to drive. Started my practice with the Audi R8 but when I took the Bentley I knew that was the car for me. Looks much better too. :-) Had a good start and managed to work my way up to 3rd behind Charles and Ari. Just before my first stop I was too quick on the throttle out of the 2nd chicane. Result; a puncture right front and a limp back to the pits. Filled her up with 90L again and while driving did the math to calculate how many fuel I would need at my last stop. Much to my surprise I got ahead of Ari after my 2nd stop. Had some great laps with Heinz but I was almost certain he had to make another stop and yes, he did. My apologies to Steve Davis for the incident in Lesmo 2. Steve, I had really no intention to pass you in the turn and I knew you are an early braker but in this case it was very early as if you were giving me the turn. But I should have been on the brakes earlier myself too and do the passing on the next straight (as planned). Grats to Charles on a great win with great laptimes. But I'm very happy with my 2nd place and already looking forward to Spa (next weekend for real at the 24H and the race with LMP) :-)

ARGHHHHH........thought I was going to get a pretty good result here as early on was motoring along ok until some stupid mistakes on my part consisting of about 3 spins & 2 stop n go penalties for speeding in the pitlane put paid to that.Had some great battles throughout the race & eventually finished 7th,shouldn't complain I suppose.Congrats to the podium & to Heinz on his storming drive,well done,cya next time.

PS.Yeh George I was trying to give you that spot so I did brake earlier,not to worry.

This has not been a good weekend for me and getting pole starts for races. which i blew just as quickly as getting them! what a waste of hard work

I got pole today with a PB and was looking forward to making up for my upset from pole yesterday in the GTM race.

on the grid i couldnt see the lights due to the bentleys cockpit view, I was there waiting for the countdown to end, when it did i thought awesome race starting lets get this underway, so put it in 1st and go .... like an idiot i forgot i needed a green light first. Stop and GO! Awesome.. never done one before so i cocked that up aswell and instead i chose a pitstop.. so fuel went in, and tyres got changed. Came in next lap, and found i shouldnt have touched a thing, and it did the stop and go. By now i was being lapped.. AWESOME again!

My teammate darren had also just got a DNf disco, and i was ready to hand in the towel and hit escape. I'm not the person who does this easily, and really need a gun to my head to do it... but a lap down, with 75 laps to go, that was as good enough a gun as anything.

Decided to push on, and slowly was crawling back, not without its trials and tribulations. trying to come back through to unlap myself was a very tough task, i apologise to anyone i may have rattled doing it, but i also thank most of you for making it easy on me and letting me through. even though half the time i screwed it up shortly after and had to do it all over again..

Lap 39 i started a good race with S.David=s .. good racing dude.. this was about the only racing i saw the entire race, the rest was just playing catch up

somehow .. I realised I had come into contention to race Ari for the 3rd and final podium spot.. Mike E. had got infront of Ari aswell, so i knew how much time i had to come out ahead, and i actually managed to come out ahead of both which worked out really well... But i had thought i put in too little fuel and short shifted the remainder of the race, until Ari had caught me to a margin of 2 seconds.

this was when i ran into S.Davis battling to get passed Johnny G. and i knew it was only going to cause drama in the last 2 laps...

S.davis started flashing to get passed and finally Johnny gave the flash back to get passed at the 2nd chicane, I thought i had enough of a chance to try get through aswell, and johnny was flashing still so i believed that to be my go ahead! so i did and i ended up being pushed off the track.. This helped Ari get right ontop of me, and i was panicking and trying to do my best to stay infront of Ari without too much aggressive blocking, but after the lesmo corners, ari made a pass stick and just had 1 more lap to find a pass back... Then i got my braking a little too late for the 2nd chicane and hit ari .. Sorry!!!!

I got a black flag for cutting aparantly and because it was the last lap and didnt serve it, i think i got dropped to 5th :(

Didnt need this stress finish after 2 hours of making a comeback to 3rd .. Sorry for pointing fingers johnny, was just an aweful situation that tap got us all into :(
