Well, sure was easy to figure out the podium tonight, there were only 3 finishers :)

Congrats to Mike and Robert for keeping it on the road for good finishes, as the rest of us can tell you, that was half the battle.

Huge congrats to Miguel for a masterful run! Miguel owned this track tonight- he had the speed and the pit strategy to totally put the rest of us away. Well done!

As for me, I had fun while it lasted. Spent most of the first couple of laps with Les. I was a bit wild in traffic, it was tough staying on track and trying to be smooth with other cars nearby.

Eventually I was careless in one of the slaloms cut into a hill- the hill reached out and set me on my ear. I was sliding along on the side of the car and the wheels came in contact with the hill, and the car hopped a little. I took note of that and tried cranking the wheel around a bit, got the car doing some crazy antics, finally got up against the hill, popped it in reverse and floored it, and to my surprise the car righted itself! I took off with maybe a minute lost!

Came into the pits and forgot to tell the crew to ignore the damage, and spent a full extra minute waiting. So when I came upon Les on his side in about the same place I was, I pulled over and gave him some good whacks until he was on his wheels again.

Then I set off after Robert again. I was catching him on lap 6 when I went wide, hit the fence and ended up on my side AGAIN! No luck righting it this time, and when Miguel squeaked by I figured I was a hazard to the leaders and I better bag it.

It was a wild ride, something crazy like this just once a year is enough for me :)

Uh, it was a beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest and I was doing things around the house & yard. I noticed it was almost six pm (lots of daylight, by the way) and hurried to unregister. My plan was to do 10 minute plus laps and finish which given the circumstances might have been a good strategy.

Sounds like Bathurst re-visited for me....

Well, i have to say the race was pretty much what i expected, a nice cruise thru the country side, after watching the rest of you disappear down the road, lol. i know i tapped some one in a Abarth enough to send them in the wrong direction in a corner, sorry about that. not sure who it was, as i don't race with names turned on. it was'nt long before he caught up with me an we had a few minutes of actually racing, before i misjudged a corner, he managed to slip by an dissappear. i had a couple "interesting incident's. one i hit a fence an did a 360, had the presence of mind to down shift to 2nd an when it spun back in the correct direction, i hit the gas an took off again. i also managed to roll the mini,but apparently without any damage , landed on all four wheels. one day i will learn to drive these things

Awesome race - headed to the long down hill stretch forgot where I was on the track, clipped a fence, cartwheeled a few times, got back underway, the game said I was going the wrong way I turned around almost immediately and was DQ'd. I don't know that my heart was really in this one. Maybe two 30 minute sprints on a track like this would be a consideration next time.

Had a little early tussel with Ray and Les. Caught Mike K on the back part of the course and was in 3rd. Mike M and Miguel where on fire. No way I could gain time on them. On the start of the 4th lap, I pitted and remebered I had to shut the damn car off to pit...didn't map that button...lol Oh well. I was just going to take gas and hope for the best with tires. I had green fronts and yellow rears with very little wear after 3 laps.

Tough circuit to race cleanly. Too many curves... Congrats to Miguel & Robert. I didn't run 100 laps like Miguel but I spent enough time on it to get somewhat familiar with the obstacles & embankments. Had a small problem that could've turned into a big one the 2nd time I went into the pits. I turned off the ignition but the dufuss kept telling me to turn it off. I dicked with the ignition for over a minute until for some reason they finally decided to fill up my car with gas.
I know there weren't many finishers but I'm still happy to take home a 2nd place (my 1st top 3 finish) - take it any way u can :0)

Miguel waxed us! It's that simple. He put in the testing effort and it showed. I didn't put in near enough laps to match his strategy. I was close on pace, but just couldn't hold it together. I was taking a ton of chances trying to keep up. Could the mini have gone 4 laps?

Fantastic win Miguel. You certainly earned that one.

Mike M. also had good speed, but two pitstops strategy has not justified itself. Up to his stop on refuelling we had good fight - on the first sector he was faster than me.
Owing to the big break I had enough time to learn a track. But all this work could be gone because on Sunday I have died hard drive. I had to spend last money on a new one. :) Home I came only after midnight and worked all night installing software. Had time to finish in half an hour before the race. The big glass of coffee has helped me to start, but on last laps it was heavy. ;)
