Japan Rally

Well, I only got through the two Tanners and Pirka clean. After a disastrous Noiker 2 put me out of the running, I just drove for the rest fun, but was bummed not to at least win a stage.

.03 on Pirka - Carl you bastard!!! Nice driving, very quick times on all the stages.

Zero practice, haven't driven RBR since the last time we had an event, and haven't see Japan Rally for more than 2 years summed up nicely into stage times.

Had some decent split times here and there but that's all.

Gonna try different car for the next event. :)

I was having a really good night, every stage had gone pretty well with no major mistakes and no other problems. Then with one stage to go (Noiker 1), my connection started playing up making me very nervous about doing the stage. That was all it took to drop me out of the zone I had got into and it all went to hell, or that's my reasoning/excuse for it anyway. The most costly mistake (not only for me!) was killing a cameraman, the idiot was right in the way and he paid the price for being such a dick! Unfortunately, so did I. I really thought I'd let David back into 2nd spot but I was very relieved to see that I'd just held on by 3 seconds, phew!
Carl was unstoppable for the 2nd week in a row, well done bro. I'll get you at one of the next rounds ;-)

The 5th stage was a complete mess. I lost my concentration many times and I don't want to calculate how much time I lost on that stage. Otherwise the stages went well if we don't count the 1st stage where I took a false start lol. Congrats to podium and see you next time in Finland!

Wait a second.. according to my calendar this rally was not even supposed to take place until today.. Tuesday is not over yet and i see that the rally is already closed.. Whats going on here? Does this mean i do not get to participate? Last week it was on a monday and this week it was on a tuesday so i did not think much of it. Does that mean it ENDS on a tuesday?

I cant let this Adams 1-2 go unchecked!

Basically, the time posted is when the rally ends. You have to complete the stages within the 24 hrs preceding the posted time.

I know i read that last time. I just saw that it was scheduled on Tuesday and figured i had until the end of Tuesday. See what i mean?

Last week on the calendar it showed it was happening on Monday and it ended on Monday (early tues morning for the europe guys)

Well i guess i was in the wrong. Basically its all day monday. Enjoy the positions for now.

I felt really comfortable with this rally and managed a couple PB's, i lost concentration at nokier 2 a bit cos da turned up for a few stages and i was just tryin too hard,pushed too much and made some mistakes.
chuffed to share the podium with da again:)
