Great Britain Rally

Hmph. Had a very bad time on my first stage (Chirdonhead I). It always takes me a stage or two to get focused- I did one practice stage before entering the server, looks like I should have done two.

Light turnout for this one, where is everybody?

I had a pretty good rally, only stage 2 (Falstone) caught me out. I took a turn a bit too tight and caught more of the bank than I should have, that put me on 2 wheels but it didn't go over, it rolled on until I reached the next corner and had to turn, as soon as I moved the wheel off centre the car just tipped over, rolled and ended up on it's roof. Such a stupid slow roll where I've never had any problem before, couldn't quite believe it. It cost me about 25 seconds so I had my work cut out trying to get back to a podium position.
Low turn-out was a bit disappointing, I hope we are gonna have more showing up next time out.

Where is everone?? Dont think we had this bad a turnout in test season.
Only made a couple mistakes really,Actually rolled at chirdonhead but fluked a miraculous recovery landing on wheels facing right way,held my breath till end of stage. stage 4 i took a bit easy after my last scare and just didnt feel comfortable.Stage 5 was first on my own after some good racing with brandon,then we both had to wait for falstone to come back round after both missing it,duh. Took the time to do a practice stage offline then managed a PB on the server.

The test season was run on weekends, wasn't it? I think that would make a fairly big difference given the time required to put one of these events in.

Although I did manage to grab an hour to compete on Monday night, the ability to spread it out over a weekend, where that ability exists within the running of the event, would I am sure see more partipants.

However having come 7th, nuts to it, you will have to grab an hour on a Monday night LOL

not much to say about this rally. i did'nt practice an it showed.had too many bad stages an actually hit the return to server button instead of the help button on stage 5. not doing that again, was trying to hurry an not lose too much time.

This was my first online rally here so I took it carefully. All the stages went with stable driving, no mistakes and _o.k._ times, except the fifth one. I don't know what happened to me. I just lost my concentration in the beginning and rolled during the first turns. I had bad luck and i had to call help. After that the rest of the stage was quite unstable and I rolled again just a couple of corners before the finish line. However, I'm happy (and surprised) with the 4th place and looking forward to next rally.

It was shame that only half of the entrants showed up but I believe we have more ppl coming up next events. Congrats podium and see you in Japan!

Based on some of the comments above, could we have a 48 hr period to do the stages, like in the test series? I don't care if it is on the weekend (Mon/Tues would be fine for me) but I wonder if we would have a better turn out if you had two days to do the stages.

Just a thought.
