Good win Dan!

I had a great car for this one but I made bad use of it. It was blazing fast but I took some damage from Bob's spin early in the going which hampered the car a bit. In the draft, I didn't notice the damage so I hung in there with Dan and Tom for much of the race. I played a little too much with the fuel mapping and often left it on the lean setting to stay more organized in the their draft. Often times with the full rice, I was running up on them too fast and would have to pull out just to prevent myself running into them.

About 3/4ths of the way through, I got a little carried away with the lean setting and left it on for too long. I soon lost their draft because of it and was left out in the dry. From this point on, the damage from earlier in the race bogged the car down quite a bit. What made matter worse was that the rear end was beginning to kick out badly through 3 and 4, making my drive hell for those last 15 laps. But I made it back in one piece and third ain't bad at all.

Fastest car in the field at the start of the race, and I choke by getting too far down on the apron as I was just catching the leaders, sending myself into the wall. Made it all the way to 4th position in 11 laps before I beltched. Got repaired, but the engine let go on my way out of the pits. At least I was able set fastest race lap for the USA event.

My plan was to try and make my pass with like 3 to go,but I did not keep track of what laps we were on.When I saw the white flag i tryed to go under you but you held your line,and i had to back out of it so as not to take us both out!! FUN FUN FUN !!!!!
