Loudon 200k

Qualified in 5th which I felt was pretty good for a debut in this series. Im fairly new to rolling starts so took it easy and dropped a couple of places as I settled in. Then a couple of laps after the first caution somebody got slightly high in Turn 1 and I tried to pass under them on the exit but took it a bit tighter then I should have and spun to the infield hitting the wall and damaging my rear diff, as I was facing the right way and travelling down the service road no yellows were brought out and so that meant I lost a further 3 laps in the pits, and it was only lap 10. After that I settled into a nice steady rhythm, let the leaders through when they appeared and unlapped myself a couple of times from the guy a position ahead of myself, but ran out of time to get that last lap back on him. 5 laps down at the finish, but without that spin and lengthy pitstop I reckon I could have made a top 5.

had a bad qualifying run and was hoping on the long run. ran conservative to save my tires but with 20 to go i was feeling very slow and losing grip. it was a tire going down and my lap times plunged from 22 to 25. my positon dropped from 3rd 2 6th but o well. i will c u guys soon and thx 4 the setup jon.

very disappointing to get a dnf here, i had a ok race pace was thinking i could end up with a top 5 but a spin but me in the wall. then under caution waiting for the pits to open my engine started to heat up and then when getting the damage fixed in the pits the engine blows. got to say its sad when your engine blows because u are under yellow, cant say i have ever seen anything like that before.

Everything went as well as I hoped it could. Was pleased to beat my pb. in qual and even more pleased that I beat Dan into the 21.1's mwuhahahaha! The only black mark was when I panicked when my car started to overheat after the first pace car. Lost concentration when the green dropped and just gave it a little too much right boot!

Excellent work by all of the lapped cars during this race. Everyone was courteous and aware of what was happening in front as well as behind.

I'll miss illinois though because I'm in France.

My first ever Oval race on rFactor & thanks to John for the setup help & others for the advice which got it working well for me.I had a blast kept my nose clean kept a steady pace & had some great racing with Phil Roberts over the last 20 laps.I kept getting inside along the straights but then had to ease off into the corner for fear of drifting up the track but overall very happy with 5th.
Will definately try another race if I am about over the next few weeks.

My first oval race ever and I liked it. Was a bit off the pace and had to keep an eye in the mirrors all the time but I think im managed ok. Will do it again for sure.

I'll miss the next round of the series at Illinois because I will be over at my parents house in France. Going to be doing some work on the house. 90 degrees plus doing a loft conversion... nice.
