Good grief. Everything going so well and just after green, a complete lock-up. And with a gaggle of cars behind me I'm sure it caused a lot of grief. Very very sorry if that's the case guys. Not in my control. Gonna go sulk now.

From the start to the half of the race Goran, Samuel and me were fighting on Pos 2, 3 and 4, our gaps were less than a second. Nice driving, boys.

Im sure, we 3 would fight till end of race :-)

I had a good race. Decided to start with a full tank and it turned out to be a good idea. I was aiming for 2nd place to be honest, as i thought that i dont stand a chance with Samuel on the grid :D

Sorry to hear about your bad luck as well Garry, and i wanna thank you for pitting tips.

I qualified 6th out of 20. For the first sting of the race I battled for 5th. All the top runners seemed to have the same pit strategy as me. We went in for our first stop at around 11 laps and after about 5 minutes I was 5th. The guys behind me was faster and we battled for a long time,with me holding him barely off at every corner. Thanks for being so patient :) I then made a mistake and he passed me joining the pack up ahead which seemed getting slower and slower.

By the time it was time for me to take my second pit I was in 3rd, yes it was my first time I was actually in the top 3 and was very happy. I pitted at around 21 laps. Then my first huge mistake happened. When service was finished I floored it like I always do but this time I spun in the pits. Usually the car would be under computer control, except for the gas, with also the speed limiter enabled. The car span, I turned it around and accelareted until I realised I was doing 54 mph in the pit lane since the limiter was off and quickly slowed down, but it was too late. I served my stop and go penalty the next lap.

When I re-entered the track I was 11th and battled for 10th. I was on the guys ass until I took a turn faster than him (meaning i would have still made it if I was there) and had no where to go except to cut through the grass. Even though there was nothing I could do and didnt even gain any time on him (lost more because I had to slow down) I got a drive-thru penalty from one of the stewards.I went to serve the penalty but it automatically pulled my car in to be serviced. I did not want to change anything and without thinking pressed esc thinking it would make the clipboard disappear and let me go. I then got DQ. I knew I couldnt finish too good anyways but at least i wouldnt have been last. Is there anyway to avoid this in the future, like not having to stop? And what was with that penalty? It was a driving mistake that gained me nothing and was never planned to gain me anything.

Kristion, penalties are only given out for repeated offenses, not just a single instance.

I had a decent qual time, not great by any means but good for pole.

Got a great start and soon had a 6 second lead, then a few minor mistakes and the lead was down to 3 seconds. Opened back up to almost 6 then another mistake :( sheeesh. Entered my pit stop with about 5 seconds gap to second. Told my crew to change fronts and waited......until the crew chief told me to turn off the egine so they could fuel me 8-| Well that was the race right there. I screwed up when I made the set, I had duplicated another set that was set for 1 stop with 100 liters DOH!

After that with all the fuel and totally unmotivated I found it difficult to even do a 1:51 this after testing in the MID 49's. Well I think I still got the championship so all is not lost :)

Oh ok...yea I know I cut a few times earlier, even when I could have refrained. I just thought it was ridiculous to be punished for that specific moment. Sorry for accusing the stewards as well, I was just really frustrated since I was probably having the most fun I've every had in a race before that. Oh and where you the driver who was chasing me for 5th? I knew you were the faster driver, sorry if you expected me to let you by. Great job though being consistent and very patient with me.

Edit: Oops I might have you mixed with one of the Cartys. All I remember is that the player had a C in their name.

Ooops , a bit late but anyway...

Congrats to Kent for the championship , well done mate 8).

Grts to Goran too for the event win, he drove a good race and we had some close racing there in the early parts :).

I had some troubles after my 1st stop , plan was to go in on laps 13-14 to get ahead of Goran , but crew refused to take me in on my 2nd stop :o.

I was driving the whole lap with HUD on , to see if the pitlight goes on while i was constantly hitting the pit-in button, but nope..never hapend and i had to go for another lap.

Still watching the HUD , i finally got the message through and i could pit-in on lap 15. Going into pits i saw that Goran is heading close to my pitspot and when i got there , it actually was the same spot LOL. Tried to park beside him , but to no avail and off i went for another lap with worn front tires :p.

On lap 16 it then went as it should and race was on again. Gaps were quite big thou and after i got into 3rd place it was looking like the end of progress on this race , but Barry H run into slight troubles when lapping a car and i could squeeze by just when the last lap started.

Close race with both good and bad luck , thanks all for the fun.

Well.. series is over and to my surprise i ended up driving 8 races here , many times from the waiting list since i signed up very late usually. Been fun racing with you all and hopefully we see in another series sometime in the future :).
