Oscherleben Enduro

Was OK while it lasted but I'm just too old for GT class. Messed it up once in the back chicane and damaged front end resulting in less grip and lazy revving. Was on two stopper so would have finished last of GTs anyhow. My race ended in T1 when I was knocked off by lapped nGT car braking laaaaaaaaaate.

Another race, another lockup.

In qual I screwed up the exit of the last turn, hit tires and bounced back right in the way of Andre, I think. Sorry. I limped back to pits and went out again, luckily I got 2nd but over a second behind Maciej.

At first in the race Maciej was holding me up. Eventually he got going properly and I started following. It was looking really interesting... until the lockup.

Complete disaster...

Qual was good and i got pole

After 10 mins of race start, first some ngt lost it in mid section while i was leading and i had to go to gravel to avoid him and lost places. Then secondly door bell rang while i was chasing Cristi, of course i didnt answer lol but it harrased me and i lost concentration and spun, many loss of positions. Then after 5 mins later game froze. Im really pissed off now as its 2nd in a row yesterday and today. If it continues ill have to skip summer season or buy a good cooling system as its 45 degree now here ...

I wonder who was on the door lol :D

Congrats to both podiums.

My race was also finished by the game for no reason. I was driving the only 350Z on the field, so I had plenty of fuel and I made my pitstop 85 minutes after race began.

Then, when my crew finished serving me and I had way to go (I could even see how long the pitstop took), the car didn't move. Then, all of a sudden, I was back in garage screen and could see all the other drivers in the list, but my name was not there. I was not disconnected, it was just as if I had never been there.

Another strange thing was that during refueling and tyre change I could hear none of those sounds whatsoever.

Oh boy, I feel so bad for being kicked off by the game after 90 minutes when I was P19... I'm really looking forward to seeing what I'll look like in the results page.

By the way, sorry to:

1) Keving Kernoodle for hitting him in L2 T1. I could do nothing else but wait for you after that.

2) Johan Nilsson for touching him in T1 when trying to overlap me. I was trying to keep my position from the driver right behind you, who was the driver I was fighting to for position in nGT, that's why I was late braking but could not match my speed to your pass. Really sorry.

Otherwise I have tried to let everybody pass me by as safely as possible, sorry if I was blocking anyone else too long.

At least you all made it to the grid, for the 3rd time since I got GTR2 I lost conn at Oschers during transistion from Warm Up to Race :( Interesting that it has been this track but it isn't always, I would say about 10 percent of my races have lost me at Race session.

To bad, had a pretty decent race set and was looking forward to this event.

I lost a few tenths in quali due to two smoking cars. That influenced my race a lot cos I got stuck behind Rob and Conor for the whole 1st stint. If I would have been faster? ... we'll never know but I did have that feeling. I knew Conor would be hard to beat cos that Vette can do 2 hours on a one stopper and the Lambo doesn't. So I focused on Rob and Cristi. Started with 100L and took another 100L and fresh meds at stop 1. I made my 2nd stop as soon as 100L would be enough to finish the race without changing tyres. That in the end did the job I was aiming for with 3rd as a result. Grats to Pablo and Conor and to the nGT-podium. And Kieron ... 4th in that field is a great result. Well done m8.

Well qual was OK. Pretty hot weather so I took med-med tires.

The race wasn't very eventful. After following Ari for a while his PC locked up. Tough luck there Ari. After that I tried keeping a good pace but this track is tough and really hard to be very consistent. Well soon Janko appeared behind me and we had a good time racing each other for a while at least :) Boring race in the start of 2nd stint until Scott came behind with his 360. He was quicker and I was stuggling to keep him nehind. He tapped my back abit which was enough for him to get 3 seconds ahead of me... No probs there Scott, you'd have gotten me anyway.

So after really bad luck of the rivals I got a 2nd. Good to see 1-2 finish for the team!

Cant belive this 8 min till the end i was leading the race and my engine broke down what a shame as this happened to me again and now after a such a good race and almost two hours of driving well cant do anything about that anymore
But apart from that it was great race i had an early fight with Ari and then something happened to him i managed to pull a nice gap before my first pit and then i pitted when i back on track sadenlly i was behind Janko for some reason. I catch him up quickly and then we had a great fight for around i dont know how many laps maybe 10 but i was a bit quicker than him. I tryed to overtake him but it was really hard as he was protecting his race line. I was waiting for his mistake and my chance. Finally there was a small chance and i use it and thanks to Janko to let me go by as we could easily crash into eachother. Then i manage to pull away a litlle and decide to start to save my engine but unfortunetly my engine start smoking and i was really trying to get into the finish. Around 8 min to go the engine blew and that was it ah
But well maybe next time it will be better.

Had an absolute shocker. Can't remember a race where more things have gone wrong (my memory isn't good because I'm sure there have been plenty of them, but still, this was awful!)

My car was a little oversteery in practice earlier so I made some adjustments but didn't bother testing them. The car felt fine in the one lap of qual I did but my FPS was in the low 30s so I had to leave and fix it. I got back with enough time for one lap but my parents needed some help so I didn't get the lap in.

Started last and realised imediatley that the car was way too understeery. I couldn't keep up with Janko, but I did manage to stay just close enough that I caught him when he caught traffic, and he would open the door and I'd breeze on through behind, so that was nice. He made a few mistakes and eventually I ended up ahead, but spun twice on that lap and dropped back. I tried to keep things consistent from then on but every time I got a few clean laps in I seemed to catch Josh illegally rejoining the track infront of me, which was frustrating. Still I drove reasonably well until my stop, where I promptly forgot how GTR2 pitstops worked. I told the team to ADD 50L and instead they filled up ot 50L. Doh! That meant I'd have to make another stop, so I thrashed the car to try to get enough of a gap to Kieron to pit. I ended up catching Joco in the process, which was annoying because all I wanted to do was hotlap and his Porsche was right in my way! he was also really laggy which made passing almos impossible, and eventually we both went for the same piece of track after he'd made a mistake, we touched and he went off. If we'd been battling for (real) position I'd have let him back through but I knew he was going to pass me back anyway, and continuing the battle just would have held him up further, so I decided to carry on.
After the stop I came out behind Joco and just ahead of Kieron, so I can't argue with the result. If I'd had a faultless race I may have won but ifs and buts dont make results, so I'll just be content that this awful race ended with a podium and move on.
