1 hour of Sepang

Blazing fast Zak congrats! Congrats to the rest of the podium too.

Set a PB in quali by almost one second, i was pretty surprised because i was messing with my setup right up to when qual started. So i was happy.

It was a fun race, had 2 spins in the first stint, I pitted in on lap 20, later than most and i think that gave me an advantage, i wanted to stay out a few more laps but i figured why push it. I hit the pit limiter way to early going into the pits and took to much fuel. Im going to say all that cost me about 30 sec which would have made for a much better race for fifth. Left the pits about 8 seconds in front of seventh and forty seconds away from fifth. So I decided not to push and lay back and finish the race in sixth barring any major mistakes.

I was happy to stay on the lead lap, Zak was hunting me down on the last lap and I crossed the finish line about 2-3 seconds in front of him as time had already expired.

WTF is with all the no shows, its really disappointing to see, epically with CCBB motorsports so close in the team championship. With first and sixth place finishes we gained no ground...

I had a phenomonal race with Claudiu that lasted for what felt like the entire race. Trading places almost every other turn on every lap. A couple of times we banged doors and I let him back through. (for which he seemed to return the favour by not storming away)

I managed to shake him for the last 5 laps or so and cruised home to third. When the racing is that good a podium finish is really worth it!

I just want to say sorry to Omar for that hit before the back straight. I thought you went a bit wide in the corner, but I was wrong. :(

Nothing special with my race pace. At least I ran consistent lap times and made no big mistakes.

Glad to get my first overall race win (other two have been class wins) Didnt realise that my setup would be as good as it was, was fighting quite a bit of oversteer when I clipped the kerbs and understeer other places.

Managed to get in a clear qualifying lap and managed to hold on to Chris. Couldnt pass because gearing at end of straight wasnt quite where it needed to be so couldnt pull out and pass but waited till first pit stop and came in earlier than Chris to make up a few seconds on new tyres which worked. After that I tried to hold a steady pace but spun with not long left which more than halfed my advantage over Chris but managed to get it turned round quickly and held on to win.

Personally this has to be one of the most techinical tracks
I ran on. One small mistake in any of the corners and it was impossible for me to make up time. Maybe my car setup,
but every entry for these corners has to be spot on or you ruin the whole lap.
Once again, great drive up front, hang in there CM
