1s. Lap incident trying to avoid the spining cars, went off track and hit Paul H., which was also off-track...Sorry m8! I was trying to avoid the cars... Then 8 mins. into race, this was my conversation with my crew chief:

CR:Your tires are worn!!!
OG: WTH!!! Its only 8 laps!
CR:Aaaaaaah! m8, we put the wrong tires...
OG: WTF!
CR:Yes, we put INTERMEDIATE tires in the front!!!!!
OG: OM!!! You dumb $%$$#%#$(&^$!!!
CR:What? kssst...kssst... Can't hear u!
OG: You dumb ($*%&^*$#^&(*#$&

Sorry guys...I noticed until the second stop I had the wrong tires! :(

Interesting race,i actually led for a coupla laps.What made it interesting was a couple of BMW mobile chicanes,had me fearing for my life,lol.As well,during the last 4-5laps,the downshift paddle became intermittent and finally refused to work.Less than 6mnths old and i will have to pull it apart,pffft.

Taken out in T1 by David's punt fodder (Claudiu). David why were you trying to undercut him in the pit exit going to 1? It looked like he was trying to give you room outside to go around. You obviously weren't ready for 1:15 at Brno were you?

Oh well, I knew something was cooking when I saw both of you on the bottom of the track going into the sweeper. That and Claudiu booting me into the sand in practice were clues to a 1st corner pileup.

I suppose I could have made it *all-the-way-around* on my flat right rear, but that just seemed likey to cause more mayhem, I thought maybe I could backtrack into the pits, nope, auto DQ. Where's a frickin' tow truck when you need one?

Paul i am more than ready for 75 minutes at BRNO....

I got a decent start and got alongside Claudiu but he closed the door on me leaving me nowhere to go :( then i see cars going off :( after that i took the D/T even though i don`t feel it was my fault - but rules are rules.

Then after the D/T i fought way way back upto 12th or something and then rear tyres were shredded so i just crawled to the half way point, then pitted but was a few litres short of finishing the race so just did as much as the next stint as i could bear to do and made a late stop added by another because i was so bored by that point.

Put a couple of fast laps in at the end with a full tank to see what my pace could`ve been like if the race hadn`t ended for me at T1....

Edit: i have just watched the replay, it`s so easy to think you are further up than you actualy are whilst in cockpit view all you can hear is the other car engine alongside and the same goes for the car ahead Claudiu in this case, yes i realise now that i wasn`t fully alongside and in hindsight could`ve backed off, but i didn`t because i thought we were together and he`d left just enough room for me.

I apologise to Claudiu and anybody that was affected at the start :( i try to drive as fair as humanly possible but also i`m a racer and will take an opportunity if i see fit, but after viewing the replay i see i had no other choice than to back off.

Feel quite crap about it anyway :( certainly feel like i`ve hit a low here.

Decent racing today.

Not very happy with qual as there were few cars infront and couldn't make a good lap when the tires were having the most grip. Took 4th overall.

I've managed to overtake Ari right after the formation and nearly Pete as well but didn't want to dive in too much. After that Ari was pushing hard behind me and we both had about the same pace until my tires were done. Wasn't sure about fuel emissions so I set the limiter down by 300 RPM. Also took hard rears which was a bad bad idea. After the stops I changed them to meds and I had a better pace. Jose spinned later on giving me the 2nd and was also catchign up with Pete quite fast but as the tires went down I was losing the gap on him. You sure know how to make em last Pete :)

Nice race but after i spon in the S i lost 4 positions

then trying overtake joco my tires worn out .But worst was

in pits a found another car ,i think my crew install

same tires again because after my 6 minutes pit i can't

stay on track.... all crew was fired after race.But has

fun at least my pc now is working fine and won't frezee

any more.Congrats winners...

~I know i wasn't in this race, but I would like to share my view on the Claudiu / David incident.

I feel Claudiu changed his line 3 times (rule broken already) deciding where he wanted to be on track to defend T1, and then on a 4th and final stand made his way to the very right of the track, leaving nothing for David (David should have been well on the brakes already by now anticipating this).
After this 4th attempt i would have atleast said Claudiu should have shown a little sportsmanship and given David that space on the right side of the track entering a gentlemans negotiation for the line in T1, and thus giving David the option of pulling out, or trying to see how well he could hug the apex of T1, but in the end, i guess a collision was on the cards from either scenario..

Hard luck anyway.

So Tim, can the driver ahead do anything and everything he pleases, including ignoring his mirrors, no matter what the circumstances are? Or are there certain guidelines that the driver ahead should follow to be a predictable person-about-to-be-lapped? Or is being predictable ahead regulated at all by R2P rules?

We aren't talking about a car being lapped here Ari (unless you are bringing up a completely different subject?). But to answer your question; YES, there is a policy on passing/being passed, blocking, and right to the line. Give them a read...

General Passing
The responsibility for the decision to pass another car, and to do it safely, rests with the overtaking driver. The overtaken driver should be aware that he/she is being passed and must not impede that pass by blocking.

Blocking
A driver may choose to protect his or her line so long as it is not considered blocking. Blocking is defined as two (2) consecutive line changes to "protect his/her line"

Right to the Line
The driver in front has the right to choose any line, so long as not to be considered blocking. The driver attempting to make a pass shall have the right to the line when their front wheel is beside the door of the other vehicle.

These above policies have been in place for the 19 months Race2Play has been open.

The word "predictable" is only a reference to lapped cars holding a regular non-contest racing line as opposed to obeying a blue-flag and moving over for leaders, which can be quite UN-predictable at times. It does NOT refer to positions that are being contested among drivers on the same lap.

I feel like a shot is being taken at me here Ari. If that is the case, then I recommend we take it to PMs. If not, then I recommend reading the policies that are in place as they cover your questions very clearly. If you have a problem with someone not following them, you should file a protest. Or you could become a steward and be a part of the solution instead?
