Anderstorp Open

It went better than I expected. Very hard on tyres this track. Grats winners and rest of us common people. :)

I had a 1 stop en was 8th. 2 bad I made a driver error in the last few laps en droped down to 15th. I had a puncture and had to pit again.

Nice race for me. I was the ONLY Morgan Aero 8 in this race. I did a 20 place in qualifs. I made only 1 pitstop and i finished in 12 place :^D ...I am really happy of my race. I did not make any mistakes but the tires were always too cold (hard tires for 1 pitstop) and cold race temperature so i was not very fast. Very good race, no unusual bumps or crazy moves by the other drivers. Cheers to all!!!

Well my form is a little lower lately, probably due to hot weather and it shows in the results.

Qual was so-so... I used med-med tires but I think I could be quite abit quciker if I used soft-soft for 2-3 laps.

Ari had an incredible pace with his 360. This track seems to be built for his driving style. At the beggining I was following Ari and Pete, with no chance of catching up. It was quite boring really, pretty uneventful.

It's a fine result and I'm taking 2nd anytime :)

Can't wait for Zolder, one of my favourite tracks. Should be quicker there :)

A good race for me. Got a good qualifying time, although could make it half a second faster, but I knew from the start i was going to be middle field.
I obviously haven't red the rules and was away while they were displayed on the chat so I forgot it was a rolling start. I guess you could all se me burning to the front at the sightning lap :) I was wondering if my connection died cause everyone was going backwards fast or maybe i just had a very good start. But then I saw the message from Tim, hehe. Sorry Tim for that, I will read the rules and write them on my monitor next time :)
Despite that it was a really great race for me, it's a pitty id din't go with the hard compound and save a pitstop, therefore making the podium, but it was OK. hade a big moment coming out of the first right hande corner. I lost my concentration and went straight forward, the tyre track were a reminder not to brake late all the following laps :) Had good consistent times and was making just slight mistakes, so I could make it to the finish. And almost pass Claudio. I am very happy, cause I know I was faster then some finished in front me, but the circumstances went good not excellent.

Well,i am very happy,haven't been on the podium in a long,long time.I had some problems when i entered the server,had rebooted earlier and found the steering off centre.Then i pulled the usb plug and reseated it only to find i had no ffb in qual.Luckily it was fine for the race.

Left front tire wrecked my race. Had to pit about 48 minutes to finish cause the tire was 33 wear - medium. So no way I could manage 48 minutes on full tank. Put hards on front. Wear out even faster. So made 3 stops instead of 1. End of story :)

I had nothing for this track, practice was better than my qualifying effort to in in Top 10, but failed... I had to make changes to the strategy inwarm-up and put on medium tires and full fuel... I was able to make 1 stopper, not before having some nice battles with Jeroen, we were so close that in one of the turns I got so close and I barely hit his rear *(sorry Jeroen*), half a lap later I moved over to let him by and let him have his position, after that I went off track and lost time...I was pushing hard after the pitstop and at the same time saving fuel which I was able to... :)

Three stops and I still couldn't make it home? Sheesh. And to top it off, I ended up in the sand on the 'manual formation lap' and hand zero opportunity to catch up to the field. What a crock - how can you do a formation lap without a pace car?

Maybe the steward could start in last, bypass the field to the front and hold a pace and formation for that lap and just drop to the pits before the start. Otherwise, these races are starting so separated that it's just plain boring. What's racing without some level of excitement on the start?

Polesitter is the pacecar. Ari held steady OK formation lap pace but it's the field behind polesitter that is responsible in this case of big gaps.
