Organizers, please sort out the warm-up lap policy:

1. If it's a racing lap then state so clearly
2. If it is a formation lap and race starts at final corner then enforce it.

As it is now it's a bit ridiculous that you more or less lose a race already before it is even started. During warm-up lap I could not even see polesitter despite having tabs on and after 1st the gap was already around 10 seconds.

Anyway, thx great race and grats winners and finishers!

What kind of post is that? oops was blank b4 Johan, but you make a very valid point. The top 7 cars have very similar lap times but no way possible to close the gap with the lead cars flying off the warm up lap and being 5 -7 cars back.

It was a great race had good competition and awesome driving by all.

Chris I'm sorry I thought you will let me pass on the straight :( shit really sorry. When I realized you gave me the inside it was too late.
Beside this was a good and hard race. I didn't have time to prep so I made 2 stops. It seems it was the wrong decision. Nice battle with Pete.
And I forgot to setup my starter and ignition keys :(
I accidentally erased my profile yesterday from GTR2 - all my setups gone :( FFB felt strange. grrr

And I think the Stewarts make it very clear if its a formation or standing start.

Usually the pole sitter sets the pace speed.

Get on Teamspeak or turn race chat on so you can be informed, belive it or not it helps.

What a stupid noob mistake.How many events have i run,one.I finished qual,jumped into garage,set fuel,ready to go.4 laps in,glance at tyre wear,blink in disbelief,then remember i forgot to change to mediums.I pushed as far as i could as i had gone with 100L for 1st stint.I guess with a race start at 1.30am,i could be excused for being brain dead.

Aaron, if it is a formation lap then why are we doing race speeds on it? On the other hand WTF do I care or bother to point it out.

Easy, was trying to help. Didnt understand your rant seeming you got a top 5 out of it.

Usually the pace speeds around 80mph, but some of the corners you can mantain it.

I take it the leader was going much faster then, I apologize.

I had a nice qualifying lap - started 4th I think but on the formation lap I was the 996 who spun on track...I grabbed an extra gear downshifting into Shell Kurve and it swapped ends before I could catch it. Sorry for impeding anyones race...i think i ended up with the worst of the outcomes though.

Waited until the entire field had passed then came back on track...24th i think is what I rejoined in.

Spent the next 15 laps battling past people...came into the pits and I had overrun my first stop window so the pit crew fills me full up again!! 100L - to the max...i needed speed, not ballast at that point...but I just hit enter, thinking I was doing my stop #1 strategy of only tires, but i got an extra few pounds of fuel as a bonus....sheesh...

Came out in 21st...go figure - it was deja vu all over again...

A couple quick points...

Josef - you were a bit slower than i was exiting McDonalds mid race while we were fighting for position...i pulled up on the inside as we exited the corner but i tapped your right rear as either you moved back in or i drifted out...glad you were able to keep going...i got the worst of that one - puncture and back to the pits...but not before

I restarted from the shoulder - saw one porsche go past and I pulled right out in front of Aaron. Absolutely inexcuseable of me Aaron and I'm sorry you disco'd after that...the damage must have been bad and it was careless of me. Totally my fault.

All in all, it sucked today...

This was the first time back online racing since about November of last year so while the result could have been better, there were some good battles and some great side by side racing but I was too far back to make a dent whatsoever in the leaderboard. The events above combined with a couple of off track-bobbles just ruined the race...but I finished...I guess that's what counts.

No worries Tracy. Infact I apologize, I should have given you a chance to speak for yourself, I was too quick to judge.

I was pissed before that happened anyway as I've ran better in the Twin Turbo in previous races, but I could get the car to work for me today.

Then that happened and I said screw it and left.

On to the next one.
