KH, I'm sorry. You had trouble, and kind of pulled over and slowed. I thought for a quarter second you were letting me pass, clearly a bad observation, so I tried to go past but there is not enough room there, you hit the wall and bounced infront of me. I should have played it safer and hung back. I'm sorry for my part in that, nerves got the best of me :(
After that it was a good race for me, solid laps the whole way out. Fun racing with you OG for 20+ laps at the end!

we had a pretty small group today. hope everyone comes back for the next race. today's race was good as i led the whole time except for some time after each pit when montour took the lead as he was running heavier than me. i think i was only a tiny bit faster but i never made any big mistakes and slowly increased the gap. everyone was good about letting me by today so thank you guys for that. sorry to steve brunell for that little tap in turn 2...your car looked all good to me but then you dropped out of the race after that so i was a little worried i ruined your race. hope not.

man, i'm gonna have to start wearing leather gloves for these races! its so hot and muggy here my hands are just slipping around on the wheel.

Ended running an easy fourth following some fun at the start and some wheel banging action with Steve, then after the last pit stop could see I was starting to reel in Alex.

Put the engine boost upto 2 for a couple of laps and BOOM! on the s/f straight.

Shoulda settled for fourth but made a mistake I wont again.

you don't wanna use the boost in the race at all except for a pass here or there, and even that is a risk. atleast if you're going to use it to chase someone down, just use it down the long straits and make sure you always keep your engine duct all the way open.

was surprised to see i was 2nd on qual, but glad at the same time!!
start was fine and kept the pace with john for a few laps, then missed my braking point at T1 that ended giving 2nd to Dennis and after that, i was more cautious and Dennis slowly builted the gap, then pitstops, i was heavy, that's why i had the lead for a few laps over John, but at that time, i was able to increase the gap and had enough fuel for about 10 laps, so, i began to start thinking about a win with this strategy, but unfortunatly, John was very strong today... :(
after i had a stable gap with M. Fed behind, it was just a matter of playing it smart and bring it home, also in the end, i came up behind a good fight between Ryan and Omar, so i decided to stay behind and watch, so i didn't ruined their race, and possibly mine, great fight guys!!!
By the way, to new guys which were backmarkers, you let us by....but, just a tought, maybe choose a better spot than in a curve to let us by??? it could be hazardous, but good job anyway :)

I want to apologize to anyone that may have had difficulties getting by me when I ran into some troubles.
About a month ago I bought a new monitor and a PS3. I use the PS3 controller to control the HUD and pitstops and whatnot, and have it mounted under my monitor. When I reached up to request a pitstop today, my knuckle touched the monitors on/off button/touchpad and everything went black :( I hope everyone made it by alright. Once I had visibility back my car was in rough shape, after an 82 second stop it wasn't much better so I parked it.
I put a sheild over the monitor controls so hopefully I won't be racing blind again anytime soon.

Hey Ryan, don't worry about it man, it happens. I was on the brakes a little early because my tires and brakes were still very cold. After I bounced off the wall I got back on the throttle only to find my steering way off and I looped it into the wall a second time. Not the way I wanted to start the season but hey, that's racing for you!

I'm not going to be able to make it to the next race because I'm getting married and my fiancée doesn't think a reception involving sim racing is a good idea apparently. And yeah, I definitely asked =). Catch you guys at Road America!

Well done Top 3!... I want to say that the leaders were very good at passing, no charging and that made it easy at least for me to let them by as I did not feel the pressure in the turns... The start was very good as I use the P2P to pass Nick at the front straight and we had a good battle, he was faster than me though and I made the first of 2 mistakes and I spun and he went by... I was havinga good battle with Emilio which also proved to be fast, yet very clean while battling... I made a big mistake, did not downshift well and went straight to the tire barrier before the hairpin, damaged the car and that took away the 4th. position I had. Is not finished until is finished some say and it proved that today... Well done SI boys Chris and Ryan which I had a 20+ lap battle switching positions back and forth...

Well this was an interesting race. I had some pretty intense and clean battles with Melton and Gonzalez, passing them out of mistakes from them (I was thinking about keeping the pressure up for some laps and THEN use the boost if not succesful, as I know the boost in this mod multiples engine damage by 315 !!!, that's right, one lap on boost is like 315 laps without it).

Well all was pretty nice... I was 5th and on my way for a 4th spot (someone ahead did crash later), but... big BUT... in LAP 47 I forgot how to reenter track after an incident... well I had an incident with the race track (forgot to respect it on T1)... so I spun and went into the barriers... dangerous spot right after T1, Gonzalez went by safely but I knew Melton was some secs behind so I hurried up trying to straighten my car (I was facing backwards)... tryied to do a quick (and safe) donnut but.... collected my front wing in the process!!!, yes I was clumsy enough to hit the wall again doing my donnut. So... damaged car, Melton then collected my front wing hopefully without damage, then lost some 60 secs on pit, and from then on just trying to finish without more issues.

Last laps had some drama since my pitstop on lap 47 meant I was having a hard time with the tires... so seeing Gonzalez was like 50 secs behind I decided to pit for tires with 3 laps to go... and then don't ask me how but I put the option NO TYRE CHANGE in pits, so all I did was to refuel a bit (I was doubtful about fuel anyway) and on to finish on a VERY SLOW pace since the tyres were pretty much gone.

Gonna try to be a regular for this series as the mod is pretty good and its schedule fits me perfectly.
