GTC-East Valencia

ARRGH. The dreaded stop and go penalty got me twice. Speeding in the pits. I wasn't sure where to start my 36mph? The blue lights entering the pits or where the computer takes over for the driver? Well, I qual'd 14th. At start of race, I picked up 4 positions when someone blew the first or 2nd turn and steam rolled a few cars from behind. Stayed in 10th till 1st pit. Came out in 14th again. No problems with that pit. I decided to pit quickly again to get it out of the way. I worked my way up to 6th before I pited the 2nd time. Exiting pit, I get the dreaded stop and go penalty. So I went 2 more laps and pitted and got the same stop and go penalty. I called it quits at that point in 17th with my 4th pitstop on the way. Congrats to the winner whoever he may be.

I was set for a gret 3rd place but on my 2nd stop a guy was sitting in my pitbox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had to make 3 stops OMG!! :(

No qual time for me - had to eat dinner instead of drive. Started at very back of grid. Got a very good start, moving up to 13th position before turn 2 (too many guys wait for the car ahead to move before actually going when the timer starts, I go when the timer starts). On lap 7 I'm running around the middle corners and get hit on the right, and flipped 3 times, landed on my wheels, and kept going, in 17th. Pitted, came out in 20 or something like that. Spent the rest of the race playing catch-up.

Qualified 4th. 3rd lap I was spun by Richard Highlands, frustrated me that he didnt wait up,after the way I was spun. Started to gain some spots back, took my pit and had someone in my spot. Drove through not wanting to wait. Got my pit in next lap and was down to 20th. Same deal happened when I went 4 my final stop, this time I waited until they were done with there pits which took 15 sec or so then pulled in.

Nice, consistent race for me. Forgot where i started, i think 3rd, ended up 4th. a good result. Would have had a good run with richard for the whole race, but my pit thing was different than everyone elses, so in the long run i lost 12 seconds. did 2 stops @ laps 13 and 25, changing 4 tires every time, and it cost me too much. was a fun 13 first laps, with clean racing, and the difference of setups made it more interesting, with richard gaining on me on certain corners, and i on others.

Was a good qualy and race for me. I made a 1.33.5 in qualy and that was enough for me to take pole. I started to pray for Samuel not taking 2nd position lol. But he took it.

I knew Samuel starts great, saw his start in Euro session. He didnt surprise me and made a great start and took 1st position from me. After that i started to chase him. I was faster than him while my tyres were fresh. And a couple of laps later we were too close while entering s/f straight. He closed inside before entering 1st corner and i could entered the corner with a better line from him. Then at exit i accelerated better and i got inside this time before 2nd turn and passed him. After this pass i started to increase gap, but gap started decreasing after 10th lap and this time he caught me. We changed roles and i was defending lol. Dunno how, but Samuel could drive way better than me with flat tyres or he took hard ones which let him go faster after my meds worn.

I planned double pitting like Samuel but he entered pits a lap before me and after double pits he was 6 seconds ahead.
I was trusting my meds and thought i could catch him. I decreased the gap to 3 secs after we lapped some group of drivers. But again my tyres were going flat and he started to drove faster.

At all i finished second and against Samuel its enough for me. At least i made a clean pass on him in early race. :PPP

Kruegers times from the Euro race and the East race were less than 6 tenths of a second apart for an hour and 2 minute race.

Thats pretty consistent :p

By the way i just realized that my qualy time is 0.002 worse than lap record. Janko did it on race but who cares :DDD

Jarrod...If you are going to call me out then at least get my name right...

You got completely sideways entering the turn before the chicane and instead of ceding the lost position you muscled your way back in front of me at corner exit. You then got it all wrong as you entered the chicane and because I had more momentum we touched as you tried gather it in. A racing incident in my books...

Great racing with Bobby as we battled it out until the pit stops. Sam and Tolga had already waltzed off into the distance and I was happy to get 3rd at a track I dislike.

I did the Euro-version of this race earlier that night and wasn't really pleased with the result (8th). So I promised myself a re-run and this time 6th was my share. Had a reasonable lonely but steady race with 2 stops in lap 20 (med fronts) and 21 (med rears). Enough M3 for the moment. Really looking forward to the GT's at Brno saturday. Maybe see ya there too.
