Sorry about the punt Lesa Lemont. Two left tires were planted in the grass so the car slid a bit. Served my pit run.

Edit: Another apology to Gregg. I didn't know I blocked you taking a position. I just thought your tires were worn. Mybad. I'll keep a better eye out next time.

I was a complete spanner this race.

George Pol and Dennis Cummings, together I owe you two apologies. I cost George time and Dennis a position. Everyone should know because I need to do better than this. I should be made an example of because my boneheadedness was strictly down to crap impatient decisions, running into the behind of other people.

The race otherwise was very fun. Barry and I were back and forth a bit, and it looked like I might've caught Kent (who had a blazing pitstop and fantastic pace) if I got into the 32s in the second stint... it only barely happened, and so Kent crossed the line with me four seconds behind. Great work Kent!! Flawless race for you.

Looking forward to the next event. I will be improving my racecraft before then.

Was very, very close to just ditching this event. One of my least favorite tracks and found the going very tough in the G2's. Throw also the fact that we are entertaining this weekend and wifey and I have a lot to prepare, but never the less I showed up.

Qual went really pretty well I thought, sure it wasn't close to Maciej nor the track record but still a solid lap for me taking 2nd on the grid.

Start went decent enough, only thing that could have been better would have been if Maciej had a bad start and he didn't. Took it easy lap 1 and as we crossed the line I had 1 second ahead and behind. But after the 3rd lap Maciej was already 3 seconds ahead and George was about 3 seconds behind. I was already content with taking 2nd or 3rd and being happy.

Tristan was on the TS telling me he was closing on me and Maciej but he still had George ahead of him, then there was some explatives followed by the explaination about running into George. Now I have about 7 seconds behind me and Maciej seemed content with a 5 second lead but then I encountered the G3's and soon Maciej had almost 12 seconds on me and Tristan now running 3rd was gaining a lot.

At lap 15 I pitted and made a great pit in and found Maciej just ahead on pit lane, I actually counted the seconds after he stopped and it was under 5. I stopped ahead of him for my stop and hurried the crew along, encouraging them on my radio. They really did me well as I exited the stop well ahead of Maciej, at one point I was showing a 16 second lead on my clock but I find that hard to believe.

Triastan the the rest made their stops and I found myself with about 6-7 seconds in hand. Tristan kept making gains on me, mostly in traffic but then it woud open back up a little as he had to deal with it. In the end I had just way too much time in hand for him to make up

An interesting event, traffic was very difficult even though most everyone was very generous allowing the G2's to pass. There were also a few guys that were totally unpredictable but that happens so no biggy really.

Grats to Tristan on a nice come from midfield and Maciej who was clearly the fastest.

Seems like USA races are becoming faster then EURO :o

Janko I think you deffo need to claim a refund on your schoolmoney muhaha.

WTG Kent, seems lately everytime you bitch before race that you can't find any pace you go out and put the car in the sharp end of the field lol

was looking just at the fastest time cj :) didnt even bother to take a look the result of full race.. my bad :P

Sorry about the start, I was all thrown off by the disappearing groove and just got all over the shop. Finally came too lost some spots, but manage to get back into it.

Could have had a better result but I messed up on the fuel and had to short shift it for 5 laps to so I wouldnt run out. By the time I had enough Garry was on me, and trying to get back up to speed I went off in the grass, lol.

Was still a fun race though.

Thanks CJ, actually was interesting, my setup was a bit faster than yours but I used yours anyway because I new the tire wear would be better with yours. In qual I used softs all around and temps were fine, was tempted to use them in race also but opted to not take that chance.
