Sorry Marko for T1. I watched the replay and it was my fault. Should have backed off there or try to turn more. I thought we could make it through ok the both of us, but apparently T1 at Doni on the inside is more of a pickle than I thought.

An ok result considering I did zero practice. Didnt know if my strategy would work, went for a zero-stopper and just crossed the line as my fuel ran out! I had to make sure it lasted though and felt pretty slow at some points, my rear tyres were worn to shreds as well. In the middle of the race I was having terrible trouble in Coppice and the chicane keeping the back-end from stepping out and one time I spun it. I was having to be very careful, especially when the M3's were flying up behind because I was having to brake so early and I was nervous about that, I got hit and spun once as a result, and I think I made a tight finish for a couple of the M3's in the final corner.

What to say ,

I was pushed off the track at the start off the race ,my car was rubish after that , and i just managed to get to the track 10sec after last car!
Not very much to say after all that... (one of those great races at R2P)

Well another great race for me really happy with P3 thats twice in 1 week :D only had the G25 Monday so still getting used to it but must say i'm enjoying my racing even more with it.

Was shocked to see a wet quali tbh 1st ever for me so to get 5th in class was great. Was really hoping that weather would carry on into the race but wasnt to be unfortunatly :(

Race i got my usual start slow away then just picked up places from people spinning was stuck behind Garret for a few laps pushing hard as io knew at that time i was faster than him, Eventually passed him and caught up with Claudiu was stuck with him for a few laps also but i made a mistake and let him get away only to see him a lap later spun out of the final turn.

My rear tyres were taking a real battering here for some reason so Had to pit with around 14 mins to go came out think P5 in class, with the fresh rubber though i could push again and did so taking 2 places and getting my 3rd place.
Had to back off a little towards the end due to low fuel actually ran out as i crossed the line at the end of the race.

Very bad race for me.
The wet qualify wasn't really the problem, but I hoped that it would rain during the race and so I put some wet tyres. It didn't rain in the whole race even though there was a forecast for rain.
I spun a few times and one of those a driver hit me(not his fault though), I'm really sorry for that and hope I didn't cost him his position.
Somewhere mid race I spun yet again and when trying to get back on the track my wheels lost traction and caused me to cross the track which(I think) prompted the steward to tell me to "Park it" so I parked it on the grass and hit esc.

I do believe this has been my worst race.

ps. When I'm told to "Park it" can I just wait in the grass or pit until the race ends and cross the finish line then?(so I don't get a DNF)

Sorry about my erratic driving during a couple of laps toward the end of the race. I did a bad strategy and thought I could do the whole race on one only set of hards with full fuel, but as it prooved in the end, that is simply not possible.

I went wide every other turn and lost my P13 in no time with 7 mins. to finish, so I pitted for fresh tires but it was too late though the pace was good again.

Congratulations to CJ and Ari for the race wins , well done CJ and Garret for taking the driver championships..As well as GTNDC for the team championship for G2 and OTHR for G3 class :).

My race could have been good , but my own mistakes cost me a lot of time. Things were progressing well in the early laps and after some good close racing i was behind Pablo. Car was working well and didn't have any problems following Pablo , just settled to the pace and waited some laps to pass , but then when i was closing the Old Hairpin, i saw quite a lot of chat messages and had that compelling need to see whats going on :o.

Well..surprise surprise..off i went into the gravel trap and deep too :S. Lost several places there and had to start the chase again , glad that i had a good car and could recover some before the pitstops.

Dunno how George got so much ahead of me after pitstops but i had some traffic on my inlap(s) and maybe that had something to do with it.
Anyways with new tires i could catch the cars ahead of me quite fast , after some contacts both cars ahead of me got in trouble and i could sneak past to P3.

Reeled in George while we were in heavy traffic and it was looking good , then i tried to box George behind a lapped car but he gave me a nudge and escaped the trap ;). Unfortunately that contact gave me some unexpected problems after i had lost some speed there on T5.
Accelerated towards T6 and there was a G3 car infront of me , so i had to go around it but at the same time Pablo was going to make a move on me and we had a contact which took both of us off the track. After some slipping and sliding on the grass ,we got back in the track and still in one piece.

I have to admit that i didn't realize how fast Pablo was closing in and my move around the G3 car probably surprised him , but then again i couldn't go through the G3 car either and there was plenty of room on my right. I guess we both could have been more careful there but luckily no major damage for anyone.

Back to chase and again some heavy traffic, which allowed me to close in on George and on a last lap i had a small chance to make a move on last turn , but i think i tried from the wrong side and couldn't accelerate fast enough to make it stick... Grts George , was a close one... :D

Thx for the race , action packed from start to finish. Car was going really fine but the driver could have been a bit more consistent ;D.

Intersting race this was. Was happy with 4th in a wet quali and got handed 2nd after T1. But I always need to get my rhythm first so my first few laps were pretty bad and dropped me back to 6th. I had started with a full tank and did my stop after lap 19 so little fuel was needed. Also took new tyres which proved to be the right choice as I could catch up with Marko (who didn't take tyres, I'm sure) quit fast. Then the part Samuel already described came. Lots of traffic and just before Same would box me in I went around a G3-car to stay in front of him. That slowed him down a bit with the result of Pablo bumping him. It gave me some air to breath but not for long. The last lap was very exciting due to traffice but I just managed to finish in 2nd. Yes Sam ... that was close indeed. :-) Grats to Claus and Ari on the wins and to Claus and Garret on winning the championships. Also grats to the winning teams.

That was a brutal qualy. I just couldn't get heat in the soft wets and did the best I could.

With Pete and myself dualling for the championship, it is difficult to convince yourself to race hard with a team mate, let alone, your team captain. I figured I would stay as close to him as possible as let the cards fall.

It all came to a heap of tears for Pete as he was helped around on L1 almost collecting me in the process. I cruised, watching fuel, until the end with no other drama. The G2 guys were exeptional on passing on this tight track.

Congrats CJ and Ari on the wins. Cj for the G2 title as well as GTNDC and OTHR for the respective titles.

I like to say a word of thanks to Pete for the small but enormously helpful info on how to drive these G3 cars. Put to use, it gave me a title (my 1st) and finishes no less than 2nd all season. Thanks Sir Pete!
