GTX Monza

Bah! Had a decent qual with 2nd in the 575. Got a decent start expecting to be passed by Tolga in the 550 so was happy to be in 3rd. In the 4 laps I ran I was pulling out from 4th place not doing a very good job of hanging with the two 550's but I was doing okay.

Then coming out of Ascari I clipped the sand and was launched into the gaurdrail and the engine quit! Was pretty surprised that I suffered that kind of damage with what should be considered a glancing blow but that's not the way it worked out :(

Turns out the 2 GTX events I did were just horrible for me.

Hmm, took the pole and everything looks like it would be ok in race. At the start i saw i lost my force feedback in the wheel. Not so easy for me to keep pace without my prefered settings, then the ffb came back but in totaly different setting as i like to drive. I couldnt keep a straight line at the straights lol and in turns i drove like my grandmother. If somebody watched me, he would ask himself what is this dumbass doing there?! But it was enough to keep 2nd position.
At the pitstop then it went more crazy. Out of pitlane i had no control of my car, somebody other was driving it. I tried to do something like put autopilot off but nothing worked, hit the ESC after half lap to not disturb others in racing. Is it a bug? Never had this one. My name was also not shown in the table anymore. Crazy to sit in a car and having no control.

oh man, i had a horrible race. for some reason my setup put hards all the way around instead of meds. so i go 20 something laps on 130deg tires, then i switch to meds, and my temps are all over the place. i make it back to 10th place, and then the saleen got squirrely coming out of a turn and i go head on to the wall and total my car out. Very disappointing :( well see some of you guys at the extreme ngt tonight

It was great! Slow but nevertheless still great!

I was worried about tyre wear but it was not a problem with soft-hard combo. Setup was as good as it gets and stable if this Porkster ever can be stable.

I was also worried that engine might explode as someone has forgotten a notch or two from gearing and I was hitting limiter already at finish line. No problems though.

I'd say this is our S5 ride. Ducking :)

Expected qualiresult .... bad first stint with again too many mistakes. Pitted in 9th ... came out in 7th. Got 6th because of someone leaving and then had a nice fight with Enis for 6th place. Made a small mistake in the 2nd chicane and that was enough for Enis to get by. Seems these highspeed tracks are not my cup of tea. Grats to the guys who made it to the podium.

Quali:
Wrestled 550JMB into shape, was on my way to low 42 or even lower when suddenly I was outta fuel coming on the main straight, car began to stutter, but despit I beat my 43.0 by some 3 thents.

Race:
First stint was very bad. When my pit stop was over I wanted to get out but Roman parked it right in front of me, D'OH, lost some 5 secs there.

2nd stint was quite decent, learned the car.

Grats Tolga, podium guys and finishers.

i sat in my pits for a good 3 mins before realizing i needed to back up ---- before the guys would start [noob mistake lol]
otherwise i had a couple spin outs and all the guys who passed me were clean n smooth
congrates to the podiums!

Well I wasn't doing to bad for me, but kept making silly errors, mind you my dog didn't help when he decided to sniff my tackle (no I'm not talkin about my rig) that kind of thing tends to distract you somewhat!

Then I come in too hot for my pitstop and get a StopGo for speeding!

And who was that dodgy geezer sat in a porker at T1? He seemed to be takin notes and shaking his head??

Roman, on the clipboard when you enter pits the first line is for driver. You must have inadvertantly switched to second (AI) driver. I know because I did this once. Had to watch him drive my car for 4 laps until I figured it out.

What you need to do in this case is request another pit. The AI will come in, and you can switch clipboard back to your name. Then you are behind the wheel again.

Surprised me when it happened because I thought that this option was disabled on a multiplayer server. Guess not! :)
