CT Racing presents E21: EuroRing

great race guys!!

These races are great; I've been treating every lap like a qualifying lap. Slides are all part of the speed in these things, and it's very fun to really toss them around lap after lap.

Getting past Andrew Peeler was fun. You were all over the place! I bet Les was watching and thinking "wtf lol bbq."

I am sad Raphael was not as fast in the race as he was in qual... really a blistering lap record he set.

You guys are kidding right? I know I totally screwed up my start and killed my own race before I even left the grid. But even if I was able to get away clean, there was absolutely no way I could come close to the pace of the leaders because most of them were cutting the last chicane. I saw it in practice, qual and the race from the same people. Guys were right in front of me just blasting straight trough the chicane with all 4 wheels off the track. You guys know you have to keep 2 wheels on the track at all times, right? Between this and the driver that turned me for position at Long Beach, this series is quickly losing it's lustre for me.

I also saw drivers with all 4 tires at least a foot into the grass on both sides of the chicane during qual, lap after lap.

I have to apologize to Raphael for some contact while he was lapping me- when the blue flag waved I was moving to the outside of the approaching hairpin, intending to let you through. Unfortunately you closed a lot quicker than I realized and were already on the outside trying to go around, sorry about that. Looked like your car took a huge hop with the contact, I feared I had rolled you.

I spent most of the race having a good time with Jim and Bryan. I was a little quicker but I kept making mistakes and letting them by. I wrestled with the car quite a bit throughout the race, this was a tight track for this beast, and proved to be quite a workout.

One driver penalized a lap for "marked course" violations
