E21: Goldenport

Great cars, can't stand the stupidly small tracks for this champ though, least the shark guys are running some good ish ones..

I have to say I agree on the track selection. Great little cars, but they need room to race and I think full sized tracks are far better. Just wait for the Euro-Ring event, it's going to be a spectacle. I'd be running every event in this series if it had more normal tracks.

Thx for the race all and grts to Pablo and Rogier for the 2nd and 3rd place on the podium.

My race was pretty straight forward this time , managed to grab the pole and it made the race so much easier. Took it a bit too easy maybe in the first lap thou and Sam was quite close but when i got my tyres heated up some ,i could open up a small gap.

Pablo had a very nice pace too and after he had overtaken Sam , he matched my lap times in the early laps and i had to push quite hard to maintain the gap.

In such a short track traffic could play a big part, so the plan was to keep on building some gap if possible and take it easy on lapping situations and it worked out nicely. Couldn't really shake off Pablo thou and he kept on pushing hard so there was no time to chill out until late on the race when he got in trouble and disappeared from my mirror.

After that it was just a matter of bringing the car home in one piece without any risk and all went as planned :).

Tricky track with couple of very slippery corners kept the concentration level high even if there weren't so much racing this time , no mistakes and steady pace so i'm pretty pleased for the outcome :).

Also my first race here as well :)
Astonished that I managed to qualify 4th, just pulled out one storming lap to get that! Considering I'd never driven the cars before, I'm really quite happy :)
Didn't think too much of the track, but it was okay I guess.
I ran for most of the race in 4th or 5th, and chased Pablo Martinez I think it was for quite a few laps! Unfortunately for myself, I made a small mistake on the exit of one of the hairpins and hit the wall, which made the car undrivable. I limped back to the pits to get it fixed, and then I was a hot on the pit exit and got myself a drive-thru - d'oh!
Still, I'm pleased with that :)

Well done Krue....short sabbatical eh? hehehe

Heheh , it's surprisingly hard to stay away from the track Kent :D .
