E21: Longbeach

Well done podium! Sorry to Andrew for the tag at the end of the back straight. I'm not sure how but locked up and lost it into the tyre wall, car on fire, end of race. School fees paid. Stoopid stoopid stoopid.

Congrats to podium.

Crashed when trying to avoid a spun car that began moving backwards and lost a wheel early in the race, so had to pit for 94 secs to get it repaired. After that it was all cruising to the checkered flag paying attention to lapping cars, as I didn't have to push anyone for position nor I was put into pressure either, the only gained spots were thanks to for other mates pitstops or spins.

i couldn't join the race because everytime it loaded it always quit out to the main menu. Anyone have any idea why? I already tried redownloading the mod and it still didn't work. It seems like it always got stuck on "Loading So n so's Car". Is there some setting I have to enable or something? THanks.

Good race all,a bit dissapointed I got punted in the back at the verry start,which span me 180,but when I watched back the replay it was unavoidable,I was just being ultra cautious not to drive into the back of anyone else which left me a bit vaunrable to anyone behind me making a quick start,still only my second race on tarmac and still learning,I had a bit of a pitstop issue which I need to find out about,but I still had fun,it felt as real as it can,and I moved out of the way as quick as I could when blue flagged (Which happend a lot, lol),even causing me to loose control a few times,but hopefully the more I get used to it the better,I guess we all have to start somewhere.

Not my best race performance wise, but had some fun along the way. Thought I had good pace out of the car, joined practice to find out I was wrong.

Changed settings and pushed harder...not smart. Span in quali, once in the race and at least four half spins during the race as well.

Good battle with Nickolay Schmick, which led to my first spin, trying to back out of an over-brave overtaking move and again with Nick P late on, felt bad when he span on the last lap but still took 10th off him!

Yeah you could have waited and let me back past you git LOL

Hit too many barriers for my cars good, but more I drive these the more I like them, and look forward to future races in this mod.

pole, fastest lap in race... but a strange penalty in qualy due to cross pit-lane line(I think in the leaving pits lap because I never put 4 wheel in the pit lane)¬¬

Sorry bout clipping you Chris. Couldnt really tell whether you spun it coming off the line or whether i got you because it looked like i'd warped through your car. Got it pulled as far right as I could but obviously not enough. Sorry bout that.

Fun race although i believe the BMW21 version used here felt very different from the one i've driven few times and the setups i had weren't compatible , on top of that the modern layout of LongBeach was a bit new for me.

Q was a bit compromised and could only manage a 3rd place on the grid , this turned out to be the decisive factor in the race since i couldn't find my way through Bas until very late on the race and Raul in P1 could escape in the meanwhile.

Not too disapointed anyway because the action on track was very entertaining and it was just what the doctor ordered :D , i had a big fight with Bas through the race ,we spend most of the time nose to tail and our fights were very intense :).

Lots of paint swapping from both sides through the race but still enough respect for each other to not to take us out of the race 8) , my car was fast but quite difficult on brakings when i had to follow someone or trying to overtake and several times i had those annoying half spins and lost a ton of time and some times even a track position :o.

Rogier and Dave were close too and when i did a bigger mistake they could immediately take advantage of it and it was a tough fight through the race , finally when i was back to 3rd place and pressuring Bas, he did a small mistake on the 3rd sector and i could slip into 2nd place.

When i had a free track ahead i could pull away but Raul had pulled a nice 8-10 secs lead in the meantime and it was impossible to real that gap in in the remaining laps even if i felt i had the pace to match his times or even go a bit faster at some points.

I remember having a contact with Rogier at some point but i think he had already lost the car when i nudged him , but sorry anyway for the contact ,couldn't avoid it.

Had some difficulties but all in all it was a fun race and enjoyed the fights ,specially with Bas who was very determined to defend his position and it took a lot of effort to try to overtake him :).

Thx all for the fun and cya maybe in the next one...maybe :D. I should be on my summer break ATM but it seems to be very hard to stay away from the track from time to time ;) :D.

It was a fun race!, great first few laps, very intense. Managed to slip into p3 at some point in those early laps, but lost a few spots when I went a bit too much sideways. Any chance of recovering from that was gone after a slight push from Samuel, but he couldn't do anything about it. No worries mate, just a racing incident. I'm not even sure I would have saved it if you wouldn't have touched me, probably not:-). Anyway I I was in 5th then and thought the race would be boring form then on until the checkered flag... I was wrong! Pablo Garcia was storming through the field after his q penalty, and managed to catch me with 3 or 4 laps to go. We had some good fighting there, changing positions more than once. In the end i managed to stay ahead, so 5th it was. Great fun! Cya
