GT4: Jiading

Started 7th, made up a place with a good start, then had a nice drive. One by one the cars in front made small mistakes or got caught up together and I was able to take advantage. Just couldn't catch Janko and never even saw Matjaz. David came back on me towards the end and I thought I was in trouble but he just pushed a bit too hard and let me off the hook. Good racing all round.

Started 13th finished 10th could have been so much better with practise. Although i do feel this track was not suitable for these cars much to long.

Anyway quali went ok with lack of practise wasnt expecting much tbh 1st fast lap i got a nudge into one of the slow corners which messed that up so went for another but i was suffering from overheating on the right front which meant it was slower than what my 1st lap would have been :(.

Race got away ok made 2 places before T2 then made another 5 in the chaos at one of the slow turns then made an error getting on the throttle to early and lost them all again lol. Another accident further down the road promoted me back up to 7th held that place for quite a while but then fell off the track again rejoined in 10th and stayed there until the end. thoroughly enjoyed this race though tbh looking forward to fridays race here.

Seemed to have a bit of pace here in fp...

just before qualy had another disco, seems a trend for me now in the Elise :P
Got in as the session started and proceeded to do my laps but my timing screen was not working so had no idea what was going on - wether to push or not or even wondered if i was all alone for most of it :P after the session i realised i`d popped into 5th which was ok.

had a good start and was battling behind Joco until Tom had a slide and Joco had to swerve and brake which led to me tapping him whilst i was already hard on my brakes :(

Pushed on behind Darren for 90% of the race and was giving him a little pressure towards the end and made a boob when i downshifted to 1st by mistake and lost the rear and gave him the fresh air he was so wanting :P and then had Tom doing the same to me for the last lap :P

car felt lost out there, and i look forward to using the more powerful beasts!!

Testing my ability to uphold our policies?

FOUR drivers penalized 1 lap for a first lap punt with no drive-through penalty served.

TWO drivers penalized 1 lap for not following policy 25.6 which reads, "If your car spins and comes to rest on the racing surface facing any direction other then the exact racing direction, you are required to stay exactly where you are until all race traffic has passed. Only then may you pull your car off the track and work on re-joining the race."

One driver DQ'd for multiple offenses during race, including multiple punts, 25.6 violation, and cutting to gain position.

I will not be emailing each of you who received penalties. I think you all know who you are and know why you are being penalized.

We do Tim and appreciate your fair and hard work ;) i was expecting my penalty, i just wanted to see how i could run with the pack ;)
