Man ohh man...

I sooo like this track and I was in great mood to race today and it showed! I got a half a second pole lead in the qualify and could have improved that too since I had a 38.3 in practice. Still, it's a nice time, but IMO USA division will beat that.

As you can see in 2 screenshots lol, I spun and felt to last place. Making my way back I had an easy job passing most of the cars but then again I made another 2 spins... It seems I just can't drive reliably in this summer heat.

Good job team APR but if I didn't spin... :P Good and interesting race for me still.

Did a good qually for 8th, but that was ruined almost instantly by someone spinning off the starting grid infront of me and sticking me in the wall as he span, damaged my steering so i had trouble on right-hand turns and consequently was lapping 1-2sec slower then I should of been! it was a slog and effort to keep any decent speed in the car. should of been 45secs further up the road in a top 8 position so im a bit gutted :(

Well... just remembered i had a race 5mins till racetime. Came to qual2 with 00:00 to go... and had to do something with the setup, so my practice was actually LAP1 of race :)

Needed a few laps to get going, then it was fun till the end. :)

Happy with 3rd, if i have not made 2 big mistakes and spin maybe i d be quite close to Darren and Heinz... Great job you guys, maybe i see more of u next time :)

Quali was a bit of a battle, just managed to get in a fairly decent lap right at the end but Heinz & Joco were much quicker. At the start Joco made a mistake in T1 as he described and I was on the inside for the next right-handers. Heinz was very generous with the space he left on the inside and that gave me the lead. From then on we just managed the lead and kept a close eye on where Janko and Joco were! I was expecting them to come charging back at some point but luckily for us it never happened.
Heinz kept right on my rear all the way but never made a serious attempt and was happy to stay where he was and take the team 1,2. Thanks to the guys we lapped for making it easy for us.

Unlucky joco, I know what its like to throw the lead away so quickly..

I only saw Darren the entire race, and just joined for fun, so sat behind darren to take the win, and bring a 2nd home for some good team points and rank :)

Took the opportunity to drive here for the first time to prepare for the upcoming Enduro event. My qualifying effort was about half a second slower than my fastest lap a few hours prior to the race and put me 14th on the grid.

However, the start was - mayhem (at least towards the back of the field). I got away well but the car in front didn't move away as quick - so edged left - next thing two cars come together against the concrete wall and block my way forward - I braked heavily and veered right - made slight contact (almost side to side due to speed differential) with a car in my blindspot but we both carried on fine. Then almost immediately Mark Wicks went into a spin against the left hand concrete wall - as he hit nose first and rebounded, my front left crumpled into his rear left. Carrying on, the car wasn't handling properly, so knew it was going to be a tough one to see through.

Still first lap and coming to the 3rd last corner, I braked and turned in fine - then I see this car coming at speed in my mirrors - tapped my rear and sent me spinning facing the wrong way on corner exit. Got hit a couple more times as cars came around. I rejoined in 20th out of 21, but getting to the chicane before the start finish straight, the car wanted to oversteer (a problem race long now with the damage) and I ended up rejoining in last across the start finish straight! Next on the agenda was to do a lap and see what the car was doing.

As the tyre temps came up nicely I started to push more. People went off ahead and I started to make places up with a consistent run. Caught up with Wicks again fighting for 15th, but serious lag meant it was extremely difficult to try and get past (I hit his ghost maybe 3 or 4 times as all of a sudden it was in front of me, only to find his car jumping ahead again where it previously was). Eventually got by and pushed as hard as I could - fastest lap only 1 tenth shy of my Qualy lap, and that with a car handling strangely due to damage. Gained 14th spot when a car went off the road on the last lap with 3 corners to go.

Interesting to say the least, now getting to know the track and quite like it. Tyre wear was fine too. Good preparation for the Enduro.

Well this race started of as absolute mayhem, had a few drinks before the start to celebrate becoming an uncle but that made me come very late to the server.

When in practise I had my first CTD of this game and was comletely flabergasted. Restarted the PC and started the game again and all worked fine from then. Although missed out on some practise and qualified way down the grid.

At the start of the race I missed the lights going to green and I went of the line pretty slow hoping that wouldn't put me in a lot of trouble in turn 1. But the trouble was already on the starting grid when multiple crashes happened and I couldn't avoid 1 car which has spun. I almost hit it dead on.. (sorry for that, but there was no way to go for me). Then further down the lap I saw another spun car who actually was Andy Graydon that got punted around on corner exit. I managed to avoid a hit with him but got a small punt because I braked very heavily. Then the car was quite hard to handle and understeered very much, trying to give a little more throttle helped but it ruined my rear tires and that hurted me at the end of the race when I had a couple of off-road experiences. I managed to hold onto my P19 with just under 0.3 seconds and finished in Photo Finish style.

Hoping for more luck in the GT3 cup.
