By far the most frustrating race I have ever been in :(

First off, sorry to Tolga (and everyone else behind) for the T1 near miss. You braked way earlier than I thought you would and I had to dive into the sand trap, then slid sideways back across the track. Nice job by everyone for missing me.

When we got into the race I was stuck behind Ari in 4th. If I didn't know better, I would have thought you were blocking for teammates in front. Seeing the brake lights come on at turn exit was surprising to say the least. Since I know you are a really fast driver, I couldn't figure out what was going on there.

It is up to me to find a way past and the Lambo's lack of straight line speed made it very difficult on this track. As my frustration grew I started to get more and more aggressive, sorry for tapping you. What I don't understand is why on lap 20 you flashed your lights out of T2. I always considered that the international sign for "I will let you through." Then you went wide into the next corner and braked early, again I thought you were letting me by. I was completely caught off guard when you turned into me, which is why I backed off and didn't complete the pass even though I had an overlap. Sorry (again) to Tolga, who was behind me and was expecting me to accelerate fully - not your fault for hitting me, but I think we understood each other with the light flashing ;)

The rest of the race was just as frustrating, especially since I felt I had the pace to compete for the podium, but I won't bother to rehash it all. I finally couldn't take it anymore, I just wasn't having fun, so I parked it.

This is not meant as a complaint or accusation to Ari, I just don't understand.

Feel a bit stupid. No ... I feel very stupid. I had put in my mind this race would be like the GT-race yesterday. Racingtime is stronger than number of laps. But yesterday the game showed: 2 hours ... and tonights race showed : 104 laps. That should have been a warning. But it didn't. I calculated on a lap of 59 secs. So in 90 minutes you could do about 92 laps. Took fuel for 94 but as it turned out .... not enough for the last 10. Was a pitty cos I was having a good race after an off in the beginning of the race. Had to work my way up through the field from 13th and finally got 6th after a long battle with Mark. Nice racing there Mark. But in the end ... all trouble for nothing and a good lessoon learned.

Maybe it would help if the event would show what it's about ... time or laps. Mentioning "Length time" in this one for instance doesn't mean a thing imho. Grats to the podium and cya next time.

Mad rush for me to get in the room for quali and then bad frame rates when I got there so I was a bit worried about the start, but I had a good one and managed to miss the turmoil and come out of turn 1 in 8th. Then I had a good run and managed to get up to 5th by about lap 30 and a really good battle trying to keep Mr. Bunce's lambo behind me. Then my strategy started to fall apart as the mediums I was on went off and my times started to dip alarmingly. I soldiered on but I was losing so much time I knew I had to pit before half way. After the lambo got past and then someone else I knew it was time so I pitted about lap 42. I thought it would still put ANOTHER 54 laps of fuel in but it didn't, it put enough in to total 54 laps when I came out so I knew I'd probably have to pit again, I also put hard tyres on and I just couldn't get them going. So once again I changed tack and went in for a quick splash of fuel and changed to softs for the last 24 laps or so. Came out in 12th (very disappointing) and just put my head down. Had fun unlapping myself from a few cars ( thanks for making room guys ) and just got in to the top 10 thanks to George dropping out. What fun for a 90 minute race, something happening all the time, and a great experience.

Qualy went good, wasnt my best time but could get the pole. However Nuno's time was too close to mine and i knew it would be a tough race.

I started the race well, at least Nuno didnt start good enough to pass me, but David didnt do what he always says and tried to brake in his braking point not mine, if he didnt turn the car to the grass, my car would die there, no offence David, racing incidents always happens :)). I watched the replay he was approaching fastly to my car after my brake. After this hit,i re entered the track in 11th place. I slowly gained my positions, but lost too much time while behind Janko and Ari but, i could pass their vettes and got 2nd position. Nuno was 12-15 secs ahead of me in that time. I tried to close the gap but, i didnt take care of my tyres while fighting to gain my positions back and my tyres got worn sooner than i expected. I knew i was able to close the gap with pits coz of lambo needs more fuel than 550. As I thought, when we both made our pits and came back, i could reduced the gap to 3 secs, but i chose med-med in pits and entered the pits earlier than Nuno. Thats why my tyres got flat earlier than Nuno and he increased the gap till finish and i finished 2nd 10 seconds behind Nuno.

I would win the race without 1st lap incident but it was a racing incident, it would happen to Nuno or another person, just this time i won the lottery :))

WOW, im really impressed with Janko, Ari and Mark! Nice going guys!

Firstly, well done to the podium and top finishers. I felt like a mobile chicanes today, having been lapped 7 times. I wanted to try the Lister in a race but this was probably a bad choice, since I was just constantly watching my mirrors. It's also very hard to find places to let people through, so apologies to the times when I didn't communicate my intentions properly.

The race started badly. In turn 2 there was some accident and just when I though that I have weaved through it all somebody T-boned me. I was already 10 seconds or so behind everyone, and could just stay with the last couple of cars. A couple of mistakes put an end to the chase and the rest of the race was just one against time and practice in getting lapped. In general it was a very frustrating and boring race and a struggle against the car.

I apologise in particular for one incident as I was getting lapped early on. I ran wide in the second last turn, then ended up running along the in field towards the last turn. I saw the car that are about to lap me coming up so I hit the brakes hoping my car would pull up on the grass. Of course it didn't do that and stopped right in the middle of the last corner. A few guys hit me - I hope you managed to continue.

I was happy with the qualifying since that was the best i could put out of vette. But car seemd to handle quite well. Very stable. I started OK and gained possitions by avoiding T1 accidant. I was 2nd behind Nuno. After few laps i knew that i was unable to get him, but still i was pushing quite hard and got quite an advantage against the ones battling behind me. Once Tolga got to 3rd place, i knew it was just a metter of time before he gets me. It also did not help that i hit a spinning Lister in last turn. Lost 4 seconds there and Tolga was right on my ass. I decided to give him a run for his money , but i knew that eventualy he will get infront with his 550. Still i had a good fight with him for a few laps with quite some good blocking ;). It was fun for me, and thats what racing is about. Then he got a good run out of last turn and i just blinked him and decided not to block him, since it was a lost battle for me.

Then on lap52 i went to pit and when i got out and all got sorted, i was 20s infont of 4th and 20s behind 2nd. So next 50 laps were soooooooooo boring, i was just trying to not fall asleep.

Anyways good result for this car, and some nice racing with Tolga. Grats to him and Nuno.

Oh it was you Lokman in that kamikazee Lister.:) It was no problem for me, I could probably avoid it, but when i see a spinning car, it seems i gotta hit it :D. Good thing it was slow corner and realy no dmg to my car (6sec repair in pit)

Yep, that was me, there's only one Lister! I usually get a bit nervous when I see cars in my mirror and I generally have a bit of trouble with the second last turn as well. Good to hear the damage wasn't too bad.
