rF3: Toban

Had a pretty good race. It was great fun, and i'm glad to be part of a group of guys that knows how to race cleanly.

I started 3rd, drove around Andre, who I think had a bad start, and then chased down 2nd into turn 1. Made a passing going into turn 2, and then blocked hard into turn 3. Broke a bit early, and 2nd place wasn't expecting it, and spun. Sorry for that. Was trying to stay careful on new tires.

5 laps later I pulled away from Mike in 2nd place, and pulled a 6 second lead. Came upon a backmarker who wasn't aware of me approaching, and I ended up in the wall with a broken front wing. Stopped to pit, and lost my chances of a top 3. But that was alright, because I got to change tires anyway.

Pushed on new tires, and couldn't make up the gap between 5th and 4th until Andre spun and I was able to overtake him. Fought hard with him in the last 3 laps and barely held my position. Great racing Andre!

Good race everyone. I had to change my tires at 19 laps. I did one mistake in the pits, I ended up getting a full tank of fuel. duh.. I forgot to set that in my settings lol

Congrats to Randy for the win. And Mike wasn't far behind. It must have been nerves and guts that last lap lol.

I saw some hits but I did not see anything serious. The hits were into cars that were out of control.

The next 2 weeks there is no race, In Canada there is 2 holidays and the US has 1 so I figure we wait until July to continue.

Then it's back to busness. ;)

oh my god what a great race that was and i had a great car running consistent 129, 130 laps but that last hairpin was my achilles heal and it cost me the lead to randy but i never gave up. last lap came by and i continued to chase down randy, i couldnt get him because i use the dale earnhardt policy of checkers or wreckers and ran a bad lap. i let randy know great race in my own special way after and hes still recovering from whiplash lol. i finished 3rd at vanport and 2nd here so luck is on my side to get the first win next race. i hope KN puts this one on youtube

Made a personal best lap to qualify on 2nd place. Was pretty happy with that. The start was good for me and got into 1st. Then tyre was too cold and lost time on the fast right and left hander. Andrew was coming fast and passed me for 1st. I was pretty comfortable at that point so all I want to do is stay close. Lap 2 my chance came. I was much faster from T1-T4 and was right on Andrew's tail before T5. I try to move to the right and Andrew made a block, so I steer further to the right because the speed I carry should be able to make a pass right at the braking zone. But Andrew move AGAIN and this time we touch! I spin and that's it. My race go downhill from there. Didn't think I damage a lot but the back of the car seem very very lose from that point on. Made a few more mistakes and that's it.

I am still pretty upset about the manouvre. Wasn't really braking early or late but it's changing racing line before the braking zone TWICE man! Oh well I understand competition is intense and we are all here to fight for position. I just think there should be better ways to defend for position. Maybe go earlier to the inside line and force me to take the outside?

Anyways, I was monitoring the race thoughout and see good racing across the field. I will hope for better luck next time.

Great race guys! had a load of fun with Mike, and NK was right on his tail for the last several laps, musta been a pretty tense spot.

Sorry i missed had to leave town for 2 days with the family.Last min thing.After i left i remembered the race sorry again will be there next week.

Good race all. My race was not too great. Mainly I need to apologize to Doug, I punted you in the first lap! I Spaced out for a second and could not avoid it. Other than that I can't seem to be consistent with these cars. The rear end likes to go out from me. I have tried softening it up and other tactics but am not sure hat is going on. Must be me. Not sure about the rest of the season, I feel like I'm just getting in the way. Ill have to practice for the next race and reevaluate myself.

Edwin ... These cars are hard to drive for amateurs. That is why we have aids. I use them. When I was creating the series Tim McArthur told me it would be a good idea to put aids.
