GTPC: fun-run

Congrats podium.

It was probably the most interesting race I've had in quite a few time, even though I couldn't qualify because of a mismatch problem with the track and had to start last... with a Saleen !!

Sorry to Martin for taking the inside on Saint Devote over his F360 and making him go wide, I saw he lost his front wing.

After that first laps was hard to pass mates with lower cars, then when I had some clean air I could do my way up front slowly, but an awful fuel strategy (2 stops) made me struggle during the whole race. Where did I hear today a 2 stops strategy was quicker than 1 stop one? Oh, yes, Monaco F1 narrators said. `_´

Besides I had a bad time trying to overlap a driver that seemed reluctant to be overlapped and in a try to do so at La Rascasse we hit and I saw from my mirrors that Charles, who was coming behind, had to brake hard and lost it making great damage to his car.

I felt so sorry to see you crashed Charles, you were 5th with a lower car, and you let me pass with my Saleen altough I was like 13th and then you found we two on track. Really sorry.

All the rest was trying to go up in my stint and then loosing it all in my pitstops.

After 1 hour racing I wanted another hour more, it was so fun...

Edit: After watching replay it seems my incident with the car about to be overlapped caused much more damage than I first saw thru my mirrors: Rob also run into that crash, so sorry for you as well.

Anyone want more? :) (Hopefully we get a replay.)

My Lister was ok but bad decision to run in a right hand car. Couldn't quite see because of the right pole of the windscreen.

Qualified 9th overall & by the first few laps had stuck it into the fence all by myself,had to let the field go by before I could remove myself from the tyres & then pitted for repairs which took 40 seconds.Came back out in I think 2nd last place & then just pushed on to finish in 8th overall--pretty pleased considering.

I vote we do more of this multi class racing,really mixes things up.

Yes, just eliminate T1!

Dang, I was being pushed hard by M. Virt, and trying to avoid getting hit from behind (which happens alot to me! LoL) I went and did myself in and ran right into the T1 armco!!! : (

Maybe it was just me, but can't we just leave a little more space on at least the 1st few turns (especially a tight track like Monaco) before we start really pushing?

This was MAAAADNEEEESSS , I enjoy first half of race every single minute. But after that because my car was damaged and I was enough stupid to skip to repair it at the pit, I just fall psyhical. So because of that I park the car on the vibrators when I clear the way for a GT car , so I lose 2 or 3 minutes there . And after 2 more laps a Saleen crash in front of me an instead wait for me to pass, he just broke the accelerator turning the car in me , PUNCTURE ! , the left front tyre has a puncture.
I have a suggestion , on this kind of formation lap to not be allowed for the drivers, to make waves on track or hit hard the accelerating/braking. My rear bumper was in shape of V after one smart guy, chop me in the formation lap.
In the end I'm glad I finish this madness.

Alex, I seen when that happened. I think the guy thought it was a standing start because he was reving his engine like crazy right before green and them bam, smacks you in the back.

This race turned out to be much funner then I thought. I wanted to go longer. Anyways, everyone was a good sport. Funny thing was, a pack of GT cars (about 3) were holding me up. I guess they couldn't use the full advantage of those cars on this track. The inevitable happened, they started destroying each other in front of me fighting for positions. Great race guys. Almost thought I won this one. It would be great winning here.

boy this was a good race for me.

first off what an awsome track to score a pole and win at!

secondley, im at a point at my sim racing career to where im kind of un sure if im getting better or not. so this wwin really boosted me up and showed me i have come a long way in my first year of sim racing!!

this was my first r2p race in months,i have just started to like gtr2 alot/ so i will be doing more for sure!
