Great Britain Rally

Now that we have a file to import, please give us a few days to build the proper importing function.

Wow what a disaster for me. Came totally unprepared, besides driving "Harwood" and "Falstone" couple of times.

Harwood Forest:
Started of as a signs of disaster. Thought ghost cars were disabled on server, apparently they were not hence I could rarely see where I was going.

Summary: Rolled it twice, one of them required "Call for help"

Falstone:
With ghost cars disabled, nothing could stop me now, right? Wrong! Rolled the car again ("Call for help"), and hit one of them trees.

Chirdonhead:
Rolled it on this stage too, what a surprise eh?! Needed to add another act on my répertoire hence I did some 360's. 8-)

Shepards Shield:
Haven't rolled it this time! Woohoo. Another spin however, missing sharp right (in S1 I think). Another act had to be added... Brushed some trees this time which at times made me steer so fast (720° of steering) that I thought the wheel will break apart. :)

Harwood Forest II:
Back to old the habits. Rolled it over, and this time I had to hit more than one tree (3 of them), otherwise where's the fun?

Chirdonhead II:
Just when I thought I was going to finish at least one stage without an incident, with decent split times in both S1 and S2, I had to add another act on my répertoire. This time I had to kill some spectators just few turns before the finish. 8-)

All in all pretty disastrous event for me, lost insane amount of time, somewhere around 2 and a half minutes. I guess I should at least prepare a bit for the next one.

22 top drivers of R2P Rally GB have been disqualified and removed from rally results after being caught in speed traps in south Wales during the British leg of the world championships. All drivers were handed suspensions and fines by magistrates in Neath on Monday.

A spokesman for the R2P Rally GB Ltd said it could not comment on individual cases but said it was very disappointed by the incidents of speeding and it's effect on rally results. Especially considering the personality of the 23rd driver.

Honest.

This rally was very hard for me, I don't know the stages, so made some big mistakes. In one stage I spun and hit some trees, and crashed also going over a bridge and rolled it, but I was lucky because I hadn't to call for help. In another stage, I run over some spectators in the last meter of the stage, I lost more than 15 seconds in the finish line, stupid crowd...

USA rally will be pretty fun, the stages are very fast :D

I say it was a fit-up...I never went over 30mph anywhere - including the stages :)

Great event, I had a bit of a rush to get the stages done on Saturday night so I'd have Sunday free for other races. So I had no yardstick to go by and I decided to just make sure I didn't roll. I was a second off my PB in 2 stages, 4 seconds off in the others, except for Falstone where I had a mishap in a fast section which cost me about 8 seconds. But the consistency on the other stages was good enough to give me a pretty good result. Not good enough to beat my little brother though who will no doubt remind me of that at every opportunity ;-) Well done Char.

I'm very happy this is getting underway at R2P.

Definitely not one of my better runs, unfortunately. I had bad offs at Falstone and Chirdonhead, gave up at least a minute overall to crashes. There's one right hander out there where the course workers are standing on the outside of a 90 degree right- morons, I think they deserve to be hit and killed for standing there.

WooHoo! I didn't finish last in any stage - finally found a sim I can finish higher than last in. Fantastic! :)

I tried to drive at a sensible level rather than flat out. Even so, I had two huge offs on Chirdonhead 2 that cost me 10 secs or so on the very first stage I started! Mercifully the car was not damaged and I could continue.

On Chirdonhead the car was in the middle of the road and all of a sudden was airborne. I didn't see anything there at all and I don't remember anything there the other times I ran through the stage, so without warning I was flung into the scenery. After bouncing through stumps and down trees I finally made it back on the road, again very lucky to escape without damage, but losing 4-5 secs.

Big fun for sure as this is my favorite sim of all time. I feel a little better after getting slaughtered in the couple of GTr races I have entered after my time away from online racing ;)

I really hope this will be an ongoing series at R2P.
