GTPC: Johor

So there I was, sitting on the grid watching the timer...next thing I'm back on the main screen and DQ'd. Thought I'd seem 'em all recently, but that's a new one on me :(

Too bad, Pete. Was looking forward to this one, especially in the rain. Too bad it didn't happen.
I had a lonely race. Grats to all who managed to finish. And to Borut, of course. Seemed a nice 3-way tussle there. Wish I was there, lol.

Crashed just at the end of qualifying, tried to get back in but it was too late it already went to warm up.

That sucks, race started at 11:15 for me, I got up at 6am and did 5 hours of practice for nothing.

We lost a handful of drivers during Q and 1 at race.

As I have stated before, there are no server restarts for isolated drops/CTDs. Yes it royally sucks, especially if you put in 10+ hours of practice. But if we begin to restart the server for discos and CTDs, what's next?

Time to go grill and watch F1..............

I agree I wasnt expecting a restart, its just a bummer thats all.

What it a wet race?

It was a lonely race, kept falling asleep and off the track.

The changeable weather was a real success, it changed from wet to dry!

Yes it changed from wet to dry, but only through the sessions, not the race. Chaz, are you familiar with Dave Gymer from SRoUK? He made a weather file to change DURING the race. It's fabulous! Absolutely stunning as you have to use strategy and tactics on a completely new level.

I'd pretty much planned my race round changeable weather as the Master instructed.

What do you mean the weather didn't change???? I saw the ambient temperature drop 1*F(0.6*C) !!

I certainly never expected a restart either...and my shoulder thanks you for not doing so :)
