GTPC: Sugo

Had 360GTC for this race and the setup was quite good so chances to close the points gap were there.

Qualified 2nd after some old fart in a TVR and managed to stay close to him in the early stages. Then there was an incident when a GT car minute down from the leader "passes" me from inside in a corner. Despite I give him p l e n t y of room he still has to punt me off. I loose several places there and the car is crippled for rest of the stint. Another incident with a GT car despite giving room and I'm considering to give up. Decided to continue but all chances for win were gone. WTF is the matter with you people? My end result is what it is just because other people had trouble as well. I really have better things to do on Sunday evenings than being a pinball for GT class.

Note to self: Brakes are COLD during the first lap

Yeah and somebody knocked down the 100 ft sign at the end of the back straight, like 6 laps to figure that out :)

LoL i owned that sign... on the warmup lap! I had no control over this car, was frustrating to drive...

I apologize to the ngt's I hit.
1. I believe it was a yellow 360, double right hander before the straight, I entered 3rd gear instead of 2nd and my car went wide into him.
2. A Porsche, left hander before the straight that leads to the last chicane, I thought he gave me room and a second later I found myself punting him, which costed me the lead that moment, sorry for not being patient enough.

I usually am patient and wait for a safe opportunity for a pass, but tonight don't know what happened.

Cristi Rus i was the 3.TVR :)

We did not touch, when i pushed the brake pedal,... car just went into a spin and i hit the inside wall just before the chicane :)

After an intentional punt during qual by Cristi, I figured this was NOT gonna be a fun event and bailed and unregistered. Looks like Cristi had many nGT victims during the race also, seen this pattern before, so I'm glad I followed my hunch and left.

Sorry to the other drivers for the comment during qual.

Rob, since you re-joined after qually had started, you would have been invisible to anyone already on track!
I got really lucky here. I knew I'd be crap in the dark, but thanks to the slowness of this track and my inability to push hard, I was able to make the car run non-stop. Starting from pole and keeping the others back for half the race really helped, too :)

Anyone else have terrible FPS on this track?

I was playing with the AI and had to turn the eye-candy way down to get decent FPS.

My rig is 3GHz Core 2 Duo running 8800 GT's in SLI OC'd to 720Mhz! Was a real surprise when my rig coughed running this track.
