Excellent Race.
Congratulations go to T. Malanga! I thought that J. Denzer was gonna run away with it.
This was my first on-line ARCA race and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I mean, when the entire field is only seperated by a half second during practice . . . you know the race is gonna be competitive as hell.
The race for me didn't start out too well. I saw someone spinning in front of me, jumped on my brakes, next thing you know I'm spinning around too! Talk about a novice move on my part! I decided to pit--what the hell, might as well--only to get a stop-and-go penalty. WHAT? So I ended up 4 laps down . . . what a crime! So I spent the entire race trying to catch up. And it was fun. I don't know how many people I ran into, or how many people ran into me--doesn't matter. Not on a track like this. But, once i got nailed hard coming out of T4, I hit the inside wall and thought the caution was gonna come out--it never did and I was able to limp my way back to the pits for repairs.
Anyway, I learned a lot and had fun!

Darn it, I woke up on time, turned off the alarm and just thought I'd rest for a second and the rest is history. Really wanted to race at this track with y'all and am just very sorry to miss out on this opportunity to race with cautions on and under a long distance format. Hope to be there for the next one. Damn.

Fun race all, had a great time. A reasonable amount of cautions for the difficulty of this track in just about every aspect. Too bad Sandeep you missed it. And to answer your question Conor, I'm happy to say there were none.

Did my best in the Team DBF prepared Chevy Monte Carlo. Ran some fast laps early and kept my nose clean. Kept in the top 5 throughout the race. By later in the race though, the beating the car was taking a toll on the handling of the car. Ended up losing a lap late in the race, kept with the leaders for awhile in hopes of getting the lucky dog, but lost them after a long run.

Towards the end of the race. I fought with Jim, who was in 6th, at one point to stay in the top 5, but little did I know I was a lap ahead of him and didn't have to worry about it. So instead of abusing my car any further I let him go, and continued to let people by just trying to keep from doing something stupid. Final caution came resulting in G/W/C, and was too far behind Charles, as he was the next car ahead of me. So I took it easy to make sure I got home no prob. Coming to the white flag, Tim made a whoops knocking the opening off turn 4, resulting in the images posted. Thats too bad my friend, you fought all day, and then to have it end like that.

Not the best race for me. I couldn't get the setup right after two days of trying, was too loose for the most part, then before the race I made a lot of adjustments just to get it on the tighter side, a little too much, and just battled it all night. First ARCA race on this server for me, and overall it went well, first time on Teamspeak as well, sooner or later I'll go out and buy a Mic. Mostly stayed out of peoples way, at least I didn't hit anyone and only spun it once about the halfway point, at which point I decided I wasn't going to do any better and parked it. Looking forward to the next race, hope they pave the track this time.

Sounds like it was a lot of fun. The lucky dog in release is not correct, as stated in pre-race, it erroneously will award a lap back to the person (laps down) that is closest to the leader regardless of postion in the race. It has been corrected to award Lucky Dog to the person the least amount of laps down, and highest in the scoring loop at the time of caution now. we also have adjusted the railing at Salem to be less harsh, as well as fixing random pace car issues as well at this track.

I'd like to run with you guys next time, so someone please keep me informed as to what details I'll need and where to go ... :)

I had lots of fun last night. The racing was great. The caution laps were the most dangerous for me. I suffered two flat tires during cautions and a stop and go penalty. I see that the wall issue is being fixed. That will be good because that can end a race real quickly. Congratulations on your win Tom.

Tough track, good race, great sim! It was better in almost every way that what we were used to. The field was tighter, the racing was closer, apparently no bogus penalties, and (knock wood) no boots.

Great speed from Jeremy, inspiring perseverance from Tom and Michael, both with controller issues. A bit of tough luck for my teammate Jim, but he hung in for a good finish. Mostly good driving and patience from the whole field. As for me, I just tried to be steady and safe, and it paid off with one of my best stock car finishes.

Thanks guys.That was a win i did not see coming till the last laps after that last yellow.I really had a hell of a time keeping my car under control about 80 laps into the race when my gas pedal would not let off 100% It would stay on about 25-30% That made it very hard to drive.And when i would pit it would red line the hole time.Iam surprised she did not let go!!I really had a 3rd place car and was happy with that,but that last yellow changed it all when the leader did not pit.Had some really great racing with everyone on the track last night!!!
