Nice win Tristan.. contrats Steve and Dennis for makeing the other two podium spots.

Garry and I shared a great battle. We went lap after lap swapping positions, it would come down to mistakes for the spot. Lots of fun Garry, looking forward to the next race!

Very fun indeed!! like this series,as it is my first try, there will be others...
with the help of my teammates Dennis, i was able to get a jump start with a great set-up, found myself in 6th spot for qualy, and was able to keep the pace while having a great clean battle with M. Kroeler as we did exchanged positions a few times, to finally have the last word :)

Well, I'd like to start with saying that that was an absolute blast!!

When I entered the practice session, I was amazed at the lap times I was seeing. Upper 34's and low 35's kind of discouraged me a bit, but knowing you need to keep your truck in one piece to the end, I quickly felt ok about my 37's.

Qualifying - Pretty good run for me with a low 36 putting me 7th on the grid. I was only running mid 37's in practice, so this was a surprise.

Race - Got a good launch, but had nowhere to put it to use, so just tried tucking in and staying clean for the first few laps. Around lap 5 or 6, I found myself once again battling with M. Peeler and again we were batting the rest of the race. I'd get by him, get excited and drive it right off the track, or some dumb mistake, and there he goes. This must have happened 3 or 4 times during the course of the race and it came down to the final turn of the last lap (I didn't know it was last lap. Thought there were 2-3 to go). We were both keeping it on the inside in the left handed sweeper leading onto the front strait and coming out to the right to get a good run. I had a very good run on him through the turn and was gonna stay to the left, carrying my momentum to make the pass, but he was defending it well, I backed off the throttle slightly, but not quite enough, and I tapped him just enough to get him a bit out of shape. I feel bad about it and suggested to Mark that the final result should be adjusted, swapping our finishing position, and will note Tim about it after I finish this post. Great battle once again Mark!

Final Thoughts - This was a very surprising track change, even on short notice, and it seems a very well received change. Thanks Tim!
