GTx: Barcelona [Novice]

What a race!

Tapped Fransisco into the first corner (sorry about that Fransisco) and then took my drive-thru. Worked my way up to 4th and had a bit of a battle for third. Hit 3rd, and went in to pit. Came out 7th and went from there.

Got back to third, and all the sudden I noticed i was second?
and then saw Kinloch warping in turn one with about 15 minutes to go. Felt horrible for you Kinloch.

Everyone started leaving from there on. Not sure what that was about.

Had a alright race, few bumps here and there, can't work out why the engine went though, was running it on lower revs and wasn't over revving it on the downshifts..

I lost my car in T-1 on the 24th. I was watching a Lambo leaving the pits and and then notice the turn coming up fast and locked it up into the wall LOL. Lost my suspension.

Crazy start with cars everywheres lol on T-1 in the back.

This Was this best, and worst day off my life.
Got a good setup in prac, went out on quali ran very well, but thought andrew was faster (just had bad luck) Got pole, had a bad start, but was on sam's tail +- 10 laps in, he went off the track, i passed him in turn one (sorry sam if it was a bit close) From there on me and sam were running very well, i saw him hitting a backmarker (sorry 4 that) Had a absuloot hatefull pitstop, (didnt know why crew didnt touch my car 4 10 sec) sam overtook me, but later i think he blew his engine.Ran first 15 min to go, andrew was 21.5 sec behind me, dont know what happend BOOM. connection lost, my adsl router didnt show the connection fell so i dont know. if it happed to anybody else, please tell me, so i can know its not just me... but ja, im just extremely dissapointed :(

I'm sorry, I couldn't join the race.
Today I was at MONZA to see the FIA GT championship race! It was wonderful!
I came back home too late to join the race...

It was interesting race. Good start, good pitstop, good chances to finish in Top5, but "Connection lost" 15 minutes before finish. :(

Wow, this was a great race for me. I managed to qualify in 4th place in a field of 20 drivers, first time I qualify that well so I was very happy.

I kept my position at the start but into T1 I got punted and off track, so I had to wait until I found a gap to go back to track just to find myself 16th. I couldn't belive it, I though my race was gone.

Then in T3 right when Michael was passing me on the outside he was crashed by a re-entering car, making him half spin and run into my car, but fortunately it only made minor damage to my bumper.

But today I was comfortable with this track/car combo and began to climb up real fast, making from T1 my best passing point thanks to a late braking.

Soon I was 4th again and as everyone began to pit I realised my fuel prediction had been wrong: Garage said I'd need 100L x 2 to finish the race, so I started with a full tank and by half the race I had still 40L, so I pitted for only another 20L but forgot to tell my crew not to repair damage from L1 incident and my pitstop took longer than expected.

I came back 6th but spun because of cold tires and lost another place, having to climb up again. Then, at about 15 minutes to go a chain reaction of disco's put me in 2th place (I was already 3rd, my "real" position if everyone had stayed on track) that I kept till the end.

You were doing so well in the not-so-fast C5-R. You have to keep the red-line way down (6600 rpm for me). At least you got 33 more laps than I did! LoL

Disappointed to see Bob Z. didn't make it to the end, tough luck bud. Maybe next time we can make it to the end.

I've been haveing problems with GTR2 locking up and thought I might make it this time, guess not. The thing locked up right in the middle of T1 on the 1st lap!!! Very disappointing as I felt I could have had a good race with the boyz. Hope I didn't cause anyone grief due to my bad PC.
Guess I'll have to reinstall GTR2 and see what happens.

Gonna make it one of these days, Dan! Was cruising along a lap down when somebody spun in turn 1 ahead of me. I tried to avoid him but ended up in the barrier and took about 3 minutes to limp the rest of the way back to the pits. A 50 second stop for repairs put me way down and then I started having connection problems, so I gave it up,

Way to go to the podium.
